I also don't get the missing search feature on the 15 Pro's, it makes no sense other than one small thing to get people to buy the latest iPhone smh. I am loving the capabilities of Project XR! Thanks for your feedback. We’re putting a lot more hours into the smallest details, which sure feels a bit rough when I remember the amount of views I would get before for half the work at Pocketnow. Still, this is what I want. I want better in ways I couldn’t do over there because of secundary stuff that didn’t help the content.

Loving the new series! Regarding your end of video question, I'm more pessimistic about Android XR to be quite honest. I had a lot of hope with Android tablets once Google released the Pixel Tablet but it seems like they're giving up on tablets already without even giving us a proper iPad Pro competitor. I can see them doing something similar with Android XR, especially since the Vision Pro has been relatively quiet since launch.

I do feel like for better or worse google will commit to XR unlike android tablets (tho some interesting developments in that direction), while people say google is late to the game after apple and meta they were still sorta early with the google glass. I feel meta and apple entering the market has put a positive spin on the devices that google feels its good enough to enter now, and Google Clear Has Killer Apps when compared to apple or meta, with Translate, Maps, also KZbin at launch maybe (doubt they withold like in the case of windows phone with all the anti trust stuff happening) That turned to a Yap 😅 Also will google be more committed since we have a competing platform from Meta and they do seem to be partnering with Samsung so I do think there is a share interest to commitment ? Curious on how XREAL makes use of the platform as well

You make a good point but that’s precisely the problem. Google was first at everything, but the execution sucked and the company didn’t persist to perfect the product. Imagine how much of a great idea Stadia was, only for us to be left with dead controllers
