In fairness, showing up uninvited and unannounced to the cooking class wasn't cool. If it'd be a dick move if you WEREN'T helping out a guy's restaurant, then it's still a dick move even if you are. The last thing the guy needed was paying class customers fawning over an unannounced guest chef.

This makes me sad, worked my ass off in kitchens barely able to scrape by with dreams slowly dying over time to open my own restaurant. Yet this absolutely horrible prick who is nasty to his staff and wife gets what he wants in life. He got more food returned in one dinner rush than I did in my whole cooking career and I worked in some high volume places, I’ve had celebrities taking photos of dishes I’ve made for them. I’ve had one complaint as a cook and that was in about how long the food took, we had two cooks serving 4000 worth of food in a three hour lunch rush. I do better financially as a street musician now and my dream isn’t completely dead, I’m hoping to start a food truck soon.
