Little update for everyone: At the end of the episode we hear that both Ricky and Tabitha excelled in their roles as Executive Chef and Manager. Lela's closed in 2007 as although business had improved Lela's debts were too high. Yelp reviews were mostly negative. In it's place now is Aladdin Jr Restaurant & Cafe, an Arab restaurant with good reviews. After Lela's Ricky went on to become Executive Chef at The Corner Butcher Shop in La Verne. He later worked for Silver Spoon Catering and is currently working at Hollywood Park Casino.

it's interesting to see how most chefs go from "Gordon is only one opinion, f**k him and I know my food is good" to "Gordon is an amazing guy, I am thankful for him"

It’s fabricated. They just following whatever they pay them to follow.

@@Gnossiene369 Why do people just like to be smart about everything? Just enjoy it as it as and don't try to be smart about it. If you don't like it that's fine but honestly just theorising "Ah yes its fabricated." About anything that feels good is such an unhealthy and cynical mindset.

The thing that makes me the most angry is that they make Tabitha look like the bad guy but she has to live off tips, if the service is bad she won't get good tips. Everyone in the kitchen would get minimum wage so they don't understand how stressful that is

Owner needs to start keeping up with the times and give servers a good minimum wage too

I love that Gordon doesn't get his hands dirty during service. He truly makes the staff figure it out because once he's gone, they're on their own.
