It’s actually true because when gender is determined when the child is a fetus in the tummy their V-Gina actually turns into a P-Nis so everybody was a “girl” at some point so their is some cases where guys have residual effects. Look it up if you don’t believe 😏

The syncing menstrual cycles thing has always seemed true to me. In college days, I lived in an apartment with three other women, plus one extra who just stayed at our place regularly, and all five of us seemed to end up having our 'time of the month' within the same one week time frame (which made for a very unpleasant, moody time in our apartment). I would be curious to see the actual scientific data on this though. As for how us women communicate to each other if we are on our period, we either just outright proclaim it, or in the case of one of my friends, we text each other the shark emoji, since we've named our periods 'shark week'.

The menstrual cycle thing makes sense if you just think about it for a moment. Scientists aren't denying that periods sync up. What they're saying is that there is no proof that living close together causes the syncing. For example, if you were to take two women who live in entirely different continents and who have no contact with each other they would also sync up. That's not because of their hormones influencing each other, it's because periods are of varying duration and because the time between periods can also vary. Eventually, as times vary and change, the two periods will become synced up. Not because the two women are close, but because that's just the nature of things with periodicity that repeat constantly at slightly different rates from each other.

I absolutely loved this episode. I know that creating these types of episodes isn't always easy. Because it's mostly about the talking nature of GMM. But I really enjoy to hear some new things and especially to hear Rhett and Link's opinion on stuff like that. As a lady, I never once had the feeling of being "disrespected" by the show or the guys. Never. So don't feel like you are "not allowed" to talk about certain things, just because you're two grown men. Well technically men do have a sort of cycle, science has said it actually happens every few days. From mood changes to other things that are affected. Granted we don't have water retention issues, bleeding, crazy pain...etc.

Mr. Doughboy I think snopes got this one wrong lol. I've never heard anyone around that hasn't "synced" when there were more than one female until this video. Shoot even with a hysterectomy PMS still rears its ugly head at the same time, that's when my son and husband run for cover 😂. Of course they get snippy and down right ornery when the man version hits them....but I just let them have their MPMS, they don't understand what's going on and with all these females running around they deserve to blow off steam 😂

Wasn't scientific but I have done my own studies and yes, it is true that women's cycles sink. As my daughter started her period, my period changed and we now have our period at the same time, unless we are away from each other for an extended period of time.
