I've watched a lot of your videos Matti, but this is one of my favorites. Perfect example of a new way to innovate Nuzlockes, even in a very familiar game, that makes the challenge experience very different. The meta of what Pokemon are good gets flipped from a standard Emerald Nuzlocke and it was super fun watching you figure that out. Illumise was one of the most important Pokemon of the run and that's not a sentence I thought I would hear!! I would love to watch a Vod for this challenge if available because it would be fun to see your thought process throughout the challenge and how you realized some of these neat work-arounds to healing here. Also didn't know I needed to see Matti's face on an Electrode begging not to die but that's something I'll never unsee. I love Pokemon Emerald and I apprecaite all your efforts to keep revisiting this awesome game. You're killing it dude :D

So theoretically, in this challenge it is legal to teach a pokémon thief and then have them steal a berry and then have your pokémon eat that berry? Held items are allowed, and you can't use berries on your pokémon, but if in a fight an effect of a move grants the effect it's a loophole?

This was such a fun challenge to watch. Always so great to see all the ways you can get creative and find workarounds for the rules you set yourself. I predicted at the beginning that Wish would have a big part in the run, but I'm used to seeing it on Umbreon, so seeing Kansas the Illumise really come in clutch was such a refreshing change of pace. The most fun part of these videos is truly seeing you figure out ways to make even the most seemingly useless pokes into heroic linchpins of the run.

Wow I would never expected you to try a run like this but the way you utterly demolished that was crazy. Rip to our boi Electrode btw, the ultimate sacrifice that was totally necessary, Gyarados obviously had a plan for thunderbolt. Anyways I want to recommend a No Stab Moves run of Black / White or Platinum. However seeing as you demolished this run, if you do return to No Stab Moves I'd love to see you consider adding the rule that all available trainers that you can find must be defeated before the next level cap. It'll add a bit more challenge by providing more failure points and having to deal with some more EXP management.
