Nemo622, the creator of Emerald Seaglass, states that this is not a difficulty rom hack, so even on the hard mode, this is such a chill game. It looks so beautiful and has so much character, ever Pokémon feels viable to slap onto your team and almost all are fun to use, has so many of the modern QOL items up to Gen 9, and has plenty of side modes (pinball, the pacifilog safari, etc) to screw around with. It’s the perfect casual Pokémon game.

I really like that softer fan games like Seaglass makes room for blind playthrough. I feel like going in blind is a lot more interesting, both more risky and makes for more attachment, since you don't see Pokemon as tools to overcome obstacles, but just the mons you want to use for your fights!

Having gym specific weather/terrain effects in place is a stroke of genius. And it makes sense! Of course the gym leader would make sure their favorite type has the home field advantage. Imagine a water gym with perma rain whose gym leader uses swift swim or rain dish pokemon. Or Norman's gym filled with neutralising gas and suddenly he shows up with a Regigas!

Y'all, don't believe him when he says he can't stop you with the sugoi mart advent calendar. I tried eating them out of turn, and now I'm locked in his basements with the other apostates who simply do not care about the sanctity of an advent calendar. Each day, he makes us wait for the next, only eating one per day, and he won't let us out until we finish the advent calendar, fulfilling the sanctity of our respective advent calendar. I haven't seen my wife in over a week. But still 10/10 would recommend.

Don't know if you know but everytime you beat a gym you should go back to petalburg for new items. Eventually you unlock ability capsules. I got a Sharpness Ninjask (bug/dark) with night slash who does sooo much damage it's crazy

I think the reason why mismagius didnt use a ghost type move against chonglong was because chimecho is a normal/psychic type pokemon in this rom, you can briefly see the typing when youre fighting tate and liza

I love how rom-hack creators all have different opinions. Me personally would never make Mismagius a fairy type. I get witchy vibes which would make me want to make it ghost/psychic. Then there’s Altaria. Me personally, it being enveloped in clouds is the whole identity. It deserves its flying typing, so I would keep it dragon/flying. And I know that the official mega loses its flying type, but me personally would fix that by making it flying/fairy. I think it’s cool that we all have our opinions and they’re all valid
