Azures staff actually works even if it’s not being used to cast. It even works with incantations! Max vDex lightning spear is comically fast

Yooo great run, bubble brother! Claymen are supreme. That Draconic Tree Sentinel strategy looked extremely miserable, I promise you it's possible to beat him normally with the bubbles though!

Challenge idea: you have to beat the game without using ANY kind of fast travel, and you can only use one grace to spawn at (you can also use stake of Marikas). If you die, you are only allowed to use that grace you chose, or a stake of Marika. Once you spawn, you must travel to the area you want to travel to

Tips for mage builds: Catalysts with bonuses works even if you don't cast with it, i.e you can use the claymen staff on off hand and regal/lusat/demihuman staves on the main hand for the extra bubble damage. Azur staff can be used on the off hand to reduce cast speed as well. Dex increases the casting speed, its not a lot, but it helps. Renalla's banna head gives int without any drawback (the only drawback is on your drip) Spells does not scale with stats, only the catalysts Terra magica + int tear/magic tear is a great damage boost

I was looking for someone to do this but couldn't find one. So did it myself before discovering your vid. Gotta say our runs are different, you use mainly the small bubbles while i used the big one. Pretty interesting. ( currently at the amputee butterfly, 2nd phase isn't kind.)

I got a potentially good idea for a challenge run, Elden Ring but you can only move by attacking (r1 or r2 on weapons which move you forward, no jumping, no horse obviously) it would be tedious to go through the overworld so maybe only attack movements when fighting enemies or a boss

Elden ring but you are the smartest barbarian alive (you can only use heavy weapons but all your stats Go into intelligence, you can only level up other stats to use the weapons and you can only do damage by applying any Magic to your weapon)

it's on dynasty mausoleum entrance site of grace and just go forward, pass the red albinauric, keep going forward, there will be a melted mushroom on the left and start climbing on that wall

A little late but enemies dodge no matter of you lock or not, if there is a projectile spawining close they will instantly dodge, unless its a night sorcery

The great oracular bubble hits crazy hard with a proper build and the bubbles I guess are area denial but they need a damage buff to really be a threat.
