Regarding what gave away you're not dutch: The card reader switches to the bank's country if you pay, so they will know by just looking that you aren't from the netherlands :d

@@archerelms Gen 1 elite four is just weird like that. Lorelei has a slowbro, Bruno has the two onix, Agatha may as well be a poison-type specialist with the golbat and the arbok, and Lance has a gyarados, aerodactyl, and even a charizard in some versions. In a sense you could say that they're multi-typed with Lorelei being ice/water, Bruno being fighting/rock/ground, Agatha being ghost/poison, and Lance being dragon/flying.
