Nah. These devs are losers. They DRMed Homeworld Desert of Karak* and made it shadow download Epic Games Spyware onto your computer, from Steam! Will never buy anything from them again. Would rather set money on fire than support a company that pretty much makes game unusable for those that live away from a wifi connection and support Chinese Spyware. 👎

No joke these are two of my favorite things. Love AA, and I've been waiting on a proper Homeworld 3 for nearly two decades. (I'm 25, but 6-year old me really loved the space battles back in 2004) Edit: I always forget that me and AA are actually pretty close in age. It's because of the dad voice.

Would you play homeworld 3 past the sponsorship? The previous entries are pretty good too, they don't offer that full civilization management depth that rimworld or sims would provide but they're some of the best RTS 3d space experiences.

The Galactic War mode of Planetary Annihilation did have a "mega buff commander" option. It sacrificed all or most building ability (at least at the start), but in turn it buffed the heck out of your commander (which is comparable to a Homeworld Mothership).

Loved this video, although its great to see you attempt challenges in games like these, torsolo, luciferium super soldier, etcetera, i personally find it equally entertaining to watch you play without your arm tied behind your back, dramatically throwing off your training weights as it were. i bet trying to make these videos entertaining is a challenge, but personally, your narration over any gameplay is enough to keep me engaged.

my absolute first thought was "you´re ONLY building ships on a carrier!" :D at least it was that way in previous 2 parts. Avoiding any repair, that would be a task. Or...limiting yourself to 3 collectors... as you did ;) There´s anew mod for PZ, called "rescue"

It's been a hot minute since I played the other Homeworld games, but if memory serves doesn't the enemy scale based on the number of ships you have? So having 6 support frigates with 2 resource collectors tells the game to up the difficulty level and since those ships don't fire back the result is you're toast.

The only thing recent HM entires left me starving for ware juicy space ship gimmicks: Ramming, small scale hyperspace-jump transportation, proper space missiles/bombs & more believable weapon placement/load out (I am looking at you HW2 Battlecruisers), 3d space shielding/formations, proper stationary space fortresses/defence platforms. HW1 & HW Emergence had nailed those aspects perfectly, but man HW2 is such letdown even when it works properly. Hopefully HW3 stands for the hype and isn't that ruined by microtrasactions & Gearbox writing.
