Can I walk faster than what is probably the shortest rail replacement bus service in the UK?
Due to work on Manchester's London Road (which isn't anywhere in or even near London), a decidated tram replacement bus service has been created running between Piccadilly and Piccadilly Gardens stations.
Yes, a service with multiple buses just for a single stop ride that according to Transport for Greater Manchester, takes about 5 minutes to walk. We appreciate the thought though, and the fact that it gives commuters an option.
With these stations being only 0.3 miles apart, will it be faster to walk between them rather than getting the bus?
