Just to "Um ACKSHUALLY" the smartasses, yes the Eclipse was a joint effort between Chrysler and Mitsubishi, but not only did Mitsubishi do most of the work to design the first two generations of the Eclipse, but the version of it in Midnight Club 3 has no involvement from Chrysler at all. The only thing American about the Gen 3 and Gen 4 Eclipse is that they were made in the factory that Rivian now owns.

This is honestly my favourite way of playing through Midnight Club 3. The Skyline is a very well rounded car for endgame despite being only C class. It puts up a fight even if you were to push the dynamic difficulty to its max. Meanwhile D class cars get completely obliterated when the dynamic difficulty is at its highest as the AI is far too fast for any D classes to keep up with thanks to their ridiculous rubberbanding. It took me a while to realise this but MC3 does have the same difficulty system as MC2 does, it just lacks the cheat code for controlling it. This dynamic difficulty being a number value that increases when you win by 1 and lowering by 1 when you lose. I made my starter car playthrough an unplayable rng nightmare because I kept using save states for restarting races, meaning this difficulty never goes down for me. So Detroit has been nothing but exotics and A class bikes for me. So if you want to experience true Hell, always restart before losing a race so the difficulty never goes down. For Skyline this is still very doable, but with cars like 350Z and slower you will be under RNG's tyranny.
