He even said it was one of the hardest challenges he made thus far. I know that Onix in Gen 1 is going to be an easier challenge, but I predict some nasty brickwalls like Erika's Victreebel.

@@LinkSkyloft I don't doubt that its possible, I just think you'd have to be absolutely insane to try a whole game with only one of them. Idk what the guy in the run you saw did, if they only sketched moves the AI trainers or wild Pokemon had, or if they setup other mons and let Smeargle sketch off of them after letting a Ditto transform into the other mon, cuz in the 3 full game series Pikasprey has done, he only sketched moves off of wild/trainer pokemon. I don't think the run is any less valid either way, cuz Smeargle isn't exactly what you'd call strong on its own, lol. Feel free to link me the run if you want, I'd love to see how the guy pulled it off. Pikasprey's six Smeargle runs are absolutely hilarious, I recommend them if you're looking for many hours of background noise. Trust me when I say, you haven't seen true disappointment until you've seen a Geodude take less than half its health in damage from Absorb, a quad super effective move, used by a Smeargle. XD it was one of the best highlights from his FireRed six smeargle run.

Here's a complicated run idea for you: "Pokémon but with Only Unusable Moves" Or more properly, take your Gen 3/4 game of choice and play through using only moves that were made unusable in Gen 8, minus Z moves and partner moves from LGPE of course (here's a complete list: www.serebii.net/swordshield/unusableattacks.shtml). Since no starter begins with any of these, you'll probably have to give yourself a new starter that does using the randomizer. Have fun looking up what few Pokémon you can even use, and what limited move pools you'll have to work with!
