Can I Beat Pokemon Scarlet with Only Grass Shinies!?

Today we attempt to beat a hardcore nuzlocke of pokemon scarlet but I can only use shiny grass pokemon!

You can get to Alfornada by foot, To the right of the sign at the entrance to the cave to Alfornada that says you won't make it on foot , you’ll see a big cliff leading down to a few ledges and a beach. While on your mount, jump off that cliff until you land on the dirt path .Follow this path around to the left, and you’ll soon come to another sign that says “To Alfornada (Detour) follow this narrow path up the cliff and there is a second entrance to the cave that you can access on foot.

You can also get to Alfornada through the cave without needing the high jump by using the backwards jump glitch.

You can find Gible with the lowest level being around 14 around Cortondo’s general area, I know because I was doing a dragons only monotype run myself a while back, so it is possible.

So fun fact you can go up a back path to reach Alfornada without high jump! And also I think the outbreaks could have been disappearing due to the clock rolling over past midnight as that resets all raids and outbreaks, that’s my only theory for that tho

The reason the outbreaks ended is because your in game timer got past 12PM and anytime it goes over that the outbreaks reset. My fav grass shiny is def Ludicolo.

I don’t really have a singular favourite shiny but one of my favourites is Kantonian Ninetails. I love the fact that it looks like an ice type and then in Sun and Moon it got an actual ice type regional variant. ❤️

My favorite grass shiny and straight up favorite grass type is far and away, Meowscarada. It reminds me of a dog who has passed who was the closest thing to a hybrid of a dog skunk giraffe and acted like a cat. So Meowscarada made me really happy when I saw it. I don’t think it will be dethroned as my favorite grass type…ever

Sometimes when I get to an outbreak, there won't be any pokemon. Shroomish the coolest. But I got 5 shiny hawluchas. Haha. I traded two, trained 1 and have 2 left over. 🤣

I have an extremely bitter history with shiny Sunflora that started two days ago. I essentially *looked at one for 3 minutes* while making fun if how goofy it was. Walked away (found an unimportant shiny Vaporeon) and then saw a normal Sunflora, thus causing me to hate shiny Sunflora

My FAVORITE shiny grass type ( at least for this Gen ) is the shiny Smoliv line... You don’t need high jump to get through cave. On my first playthrough Alfornada was the 2nd gym I did and Orthworm was the very last Titan I did.

They should merge Grass and Bug into a single type. That does improve the type effectiveness. Here it is: Biota type (Life) represents Plants, Fungi, Algae and Insects. The new Biota (Grass/Bug) type is: Weak to Fire, Flying, Rock, Poison, Ice, Bug (A part of Biota) Resists Fighting, Water, Electric, Ground, Grass (A part of Biota). Strong against Ground, Rock, Water, Psychic, Dark, Grass (Biota part) Not effective on Flying, Poison, Steel, Fire Now since Biota can't be both weak and resistant to itself, so Biota resists itself and just like Fire and Water Biota gets resisted by Dragon. Unlike Bug havig a Resists and Gets resisted by relationship with Fighting, this type is Immune to Fairy. As a Buff, no more resisted by Poison (plants do fight back Pollution, they aren't docile creatures). No more Weak to Rock, because No more strong against Dark and Psychic. Overall: Defensively: 2x: Fire, Flying, Poison, Ice 0.5x: Fighting, Water, Electric, Ground, Biota 0x: Fairy Offensively: 2x: Water, Ground, Rock 0.5x: Fire, Flying, Fighting, Biota, Dragon, Steel Total score: -4+5+2+3-6=0 This really balances the type.
