The arrokuda hunt reminds me of the on time I was walking around Palmer before the teal mask and ran into a shiny cloyster. It was also night and very hard to see it especially because it was in a river.

You didn’t need to give bisharp the crest, you just needed to knock out 3 bisharp with pawniard according to my testing. I don’t know why that’s still a misconception about kingambit but hey, do what you will with that information, I don’t really care.

The continued confusion is probably because, while your bisharp does not need to hold the Leader's Crest, the three bisharp you knock out do need to be holding it, and the only bisharp that spawn while holding it are those in a pack spawn with Pawniard.

I don’t know what way you play your Switch on, but in handheld mode I have not once had extreme lag at the Crystal pool. In the underground area beneath it where Feebass spawn I do have trouble but not their. Casseroya Lake in the base game is unbearable to be at, however.

The Bisharp that you are trying evolve into Kingambit does not need to hold the Leader’s Crest,@Jayden Wilson. You just have to beat three Bisharp that lead a pack of Pawniard(which hold the Leader’s Crest)to evolve it.

Arrokuda was by far the most painful hunt for me. i unfortunately found a random one that i killed because i forgot to save before entering the battle. so i wanted to find another one to feel better after the accident. and bro this cristal pool is so freaking annoying. i lost like 2 sandwiches because i saved in front of 2 Arrokuda that weren’t even shiny because the reflects of the crystals, the lighting and them being under the water most of the time made me think that they were shiny. hunting there was painful, lagging in circles for hours, but i’m now the (kinda) proud owner of a shiny Arrokuda

I would love to do this challenge, but I have the weirdest shiny luck in this game. It seems like no matter what, I can never get a shiny I'm actually hunting for, either something completely random pops up nearby or I'll just run into one randomly while not even trying to hunt! Within the first ten to twenty minutes of even starting my save file, I ran into a shiny Wiglett! Then the first pokemon I tried to hunt was Sandyghast, I got Pawniard instead. There was also the time I was just wandering around and I ran into a shiny Goomy, and literally not even a minute later a shiny Chewtle spawned in sleeping right next to where I found the Goomy! Also for my first shiny in Kitakami, I was hunting in a Lycanroc outbreak because I really love the blue of that shiny, when a shiny Noctowl just flew right in front of me. I also have a Glimmora, Sudowoodo, and Timburr, all randomly encountered during my playthrough. Idk, I just find it weird lol. Btw I do have the shiny charm, but for a lot of those I didn't and I've only ever made like three sparkling sandwiches (I have horrible luck with getting Herba Mystica from raids) all of which were used on a Mimikyu hunt that went terribly so I gave up ^^'

God, I did the shiny female salandit hunt once, I feel your pain! After 2 shiny males I was too stubborn to just do a salazzle outbreak... 6 male shinnies total before finally getting a female on the 7th, which statistically is good odds but still took a long ass time 😂
