I am once again asking you to take the fossil opposite the one you say you took. Just to see who notices. I almost had hope this time because of how long you lingered on the Cover fossil. Yes, I know he took the Dome fossil on a fossils only run when he started with Omanyte. But that is not what I mean. I think I suggested this before, but I have a fun(?) suggestion. I tried doing a playthrough with a team of the 6 worst fully-evolved Pokémon in Ruby late last year, and it was challenging. I had fun with being creative with movesets and breeding for egg moves to try to make the best of the worst (like getting magnitude on Nosepass lol)

I have an idea for a fun challenge, One that means you could even use Drowzee. Can you beat Pokemon Black (Or any game from gen's 5 ,6 or 7) with only the move Assist? Purrloin learns Assist at level 6 so it'd be the starter, Then if you get a male Purrloin you can breed it with other's to get more Pokemon. I think this would be a great wacky challenge since the more Pokemon on your team the more random the move is. For any that don't know Assist uses a random move known by any of the user's party Pokémon, With some exceptions. So even Pokemon that can't use Assist would still be useful if they have good moves that Assist can use. Drowzee is in the Human-Like Egg Group so If you want one with Assist you'd need a Spinda since they're in the Field and Human-Like Egg Groups so can breed with Purrloin and Drowzee. You could also use a Chimchar as a starter if you give it Assist as an Egg Move, They're also in the Field and Human-Like Egg Groups so a male one can breed the move into any Pokemon with Assist.

I wonder if Imposter Dittos Only run would be worth much. Maybe instead of solo run I'd allow for two or even three of them so you can switch to reimpost, plus could be more interesting to have that bit more to work with since you don't have good moveset control to work with. Maybe even a rule that you MUST switch if possible every time your opponent swaps mons.

Aww, too bad we couldn't hear the cat. This is a fun run. Its too bad you can't get vullaby or rufflet until super late game in most games. You can grab them on the first island in ultra sun/moon and they were both super fun to use. Eviolite vullaby is great.

Honestly the best way to know how to pronounce Pokemon names correctly is to look at the words that inspired their name. Duosion is a combination of duo - as in two, and division - to split, so its doo-oh-sion. I would say it’s a fairly consistent way to get it right

I would ask why not evolve petilil into lilligant earlier for quiver dance, or use the move reminder for it too, but I'd have to guess that you just didn't know or thought stone evo meant no noves which is fair. Also with noticing that you skipped giga drain and kept mega drain I feel obligated to say that gen 5+ buffed giga drain into a 75 power move with 10 pp rather than 60 power 5 pp so it's a very strong move, especially since energy ball is only 80 power in gens 4 and 5, something that might be helpful for the future.

My Playthrough Suggestion: Pokemon Silver with Mass Outbreak Pokemon and their evolutions only (it's okay if you cheat to trigger outbreaks or raise the Outbreak Pokemon's encounter rate, since I mainly just want to see Pokemon like Granbull and Octillery in action in their debut game) I remember when I first saw Reuniclus when Pokemon Black and White just came out and all the new Pokemon were being posted/shown, thinking "Ooh. I love the solosis line, however it always makes me upset that the middle evolution just doesn't work with eviolite as the final form only has 5 base spdef less and the defense stat lime 7.5 less with duosion having way less hp.

Note that Eviolite doesn't affect your base stats, but instead your final calculated stats. We're not talking about a difference in base stats of 65/75/90 vs. 110/75/85 (That's HP/Def/SpD with Duosion being on the left and Reuni on the right), we're talking about a difference in final calculated stats of 334/327/234 vs. 424/273/206 (assuming perfect IVs and an EV-spread of 252 HP 252+ Defense at lv. 100). The difference in HP does undeniably suck tho :(

I never got heavy into how stats are calculated, and obviously HP is the biggest reason why duosion is a bad eviolite user, but the defensive stat differnce with eviolite vs final form are still very close together which was my main point.
