@2:43 IV calculator at psypokes gives these ranges: everything except speed has a range from 0-19, where for speed the IV range is 10-29. It is higher than 10 as a speed IV of 10 would make the speed stat 5, where yours have 6. So at the very least, a speedy shuckle. Note: the IV ranges are very broad at lower levels.

Adamant doesn't matter at all for Shuckle. With perfect IV's, the difference between a neutral nature and beneficial nature is only 11 points. Just maxing out attack EVs provide 5 times that. More effective would be a Def/SpDef boosting nature (SpAtk/Spd reduction). That's a 50 point difference over neutral. And max out Atk and HP EVs.

Apparently Black & White is the gen where Shuckle got the new (at the time) Shell Smash move and Contrary as a hidden ability Two things almost any other pokemon would die to have, but also things Shuckle gets pretty much nothing out of.

Maybe try doing a randomized run where the encounters, starters and trainers will all be random so you won't know what you're getting into, and perhaps you can do nuzlocke encounter rules where you can only catch the first pokemon you encounter in each route, cave or forest

You're thinking of Revenge. The dark variant is Payback, which only requires you move before them. Assurance deals more damage if the target has already taken damage on the same turn.
