Damn those Runs are entertaining :D But I dare you to pick Argonian for your next survival run, no matter the actual challenge xD I do want to put up an Idea though for you to throw into your polls: You can only skill & use 1 Skilltree from each Group. 1 Warrior Skill, 1 Thief Skill & 1 Mage Skill. You fail, when you level up any skill you've not chosen.* *unless a quest/book grants you a free skill-up, those are allowed outside of your choice.. Warrior: - Smithing / Heavy Armor / Block / One-handed / Two-handed / Archery Thief: - Alchemy / Light Armor / Sneak / Lockpicking / Pickpocket / Speech Mage: - Enchanting / Alteration / Restoration / Conjuration / Destruction / Illusion Keep in mind, that buying & selling Items will level Speech. ;)

33:35 - I also don't see why the door would need to be like that for the druaguer. It does make sense for the door to be like that though. Having the door require a key and combination makes it safer because it prevents both picking and just guessing the combination. It doesn't matter that The combination is on the back of the key because if you have the key you're meant to be able to open it.

I find from my experience survival and crafting only runs have the exact same issue at first it's amazing it's difficult and I have to challenge but then eventually you release it started doesn't matter anymore you have enough money to pay for INS so you can always sleep in bed you have more than enough food to never go hungry and eventually the armor you get is just normal armor without any kind of restriction

FYI you DO NOT have to do Brynyolf's quest to enter the ratway or the Flagon. You omly have to do it to join the theives guild.

Finding or crafting gear that improves your damage in game is essential for Legendary difficulty. 3-4 pieces of gear with +15-20% damage to one or two handed weapons its strong. Even without the loop you can get 50-150% more damage alone

I’d argue that enchanting should be allowed, but it’s hard to fill gems without being able to use a soul trap spell (you’re on legendary, you’ll probably run out of charge on a soul trap weapon ages before the enemy dies). The previous games let you make spells, sad they didn’t bring that into this game.

Useful tip use ancient knowledge a quest reward for helping return the lexicon to a dwarves ruin for an argoinuon in rotten it increases the rate you increase smithing and increases armor resistance with dwarves armor

in terms of the whole, “locking up the last room when the rest of the dragur can walk out” part, at higher levels the dungeon bosses sometimes just end up being dragon priests i wont lie it makes more sense to just lock up the entire dungeon, but i dunno maybe they wanted to visit their grandma or something while keeping their racist uncle locked up in the no no chamber

While not an exploit; having poisons to add to your favorite tab helps on your currently equipped weapon. it instant applies without the message and using slow, stamina-dmg and weaken-stamina are STUPIDLY powerful! Say Willow, have you tried playing Enderal and other Steam-Mod games?

Legendary difficulty is something I don't think I will ever actually play. Master is tough, but you can actually play it pretty easily with enough experience. Legendary just never feels worth it.

I pretty much always exploit crafting to make one-hit kill gear…especially on Legendary difficulty. I get bored with the amount of damage even minor enemies can soak up.

hasn't been that way since like 2013, best way is to just get the transmute spell to buy iron, make it gold, craft rings...sell rings repeat

As the person before me said: that hasn't been the case for a long time, experience for crafting skills is based on price values. Two rings for one gold ingot is the most efficient in the game, especially with the ease of using Transmute ore. You also get rings which are easy to enchant with either sneak or two-handed, making them high-value. Then you can sell them for more than the price of a filled petty soul gem, allowing the loop to be infinitely repeating.

Personally I can't stand the vanilla survival, the temperature and no fast travel gets super annoying and unfun, there's many survival mods for free that make the experience so much better than vanilla. Especially when you get mods that change food/ingredient pricing and stats along with some new ones.

Sadly the "difficulty" in Skyrim is a joke, because like you saw, the game is balanced around Adept, and beyond that it's just a masochism slider that makes enemies one-shot you inexplicably while turning them into unreasonable damage sponges. You CAN make it work, but you're pretty much forced to go the stealth route. No, not stealth archery, fuck you, but rogue and dagger so you can get that 30x damage modifier with the Dark Brotherhood gloves. - Being on a crafted only run, you'd not be able to use those unless anniversary edition finally allowed the disenchanting of that gloves to apply the mod to other gear, or something of that nature. But even then, the only way to really get a food in Legendary difficulty pretty much has to do with farming bullshit amounts of alchemy materials, crafting those hyper-expensive potions as a way to set up a stockpile of gold, then use a vendor reset trick with quicksave-punch-quickload to buy out massive amounts of ores and resources to spend on smithing and do a bit of enchanting along the way. Whole point there being that hyper-focusing on those skills will let you increase your smithing way beyond where it'd be compared to your level if you were to play normally, so instead of being level 10 with 40 smithing, and a bunch of other skills that you developed passively, you can be level 10 with 100 sneaking and nothing else aside for that. - Perks you get speed up along the ebony/daedric line, then the rest you get you put in the early perks for your chosen weapon types. With 100 smithing you can upgrade even Elven armor to the armor cap so you really don't care about your chosen armor outside of fashion, but you really wanna get that daedric or at least ebony weapon early on. - Ideally an axe or mace because the attack speed difference is a joke and the perks are good, and start pumping your sneaking skill. - For early on reset a vendor until you get boots with muffling and that basically makes sneaking a non-issue, and literally just focus on trying to get sneak attacks in melee so you can one-shot enemies and cope with that bullshit "enemies only take 25% damage" while using stealth to completely ignore the fact you're made of wet tissue paper and toothpicks.

Also on the argument of stealth, bow vs dagger. Highest base damage for daggers is 13, but dragonbone has 12 and daedric has 11. - Blade of Woe has 12 base damage, and can be obtained with relative ease. Highest base damage for bows is mystic binding bound bow with 24. but since you can't upgrade that, biggest damage output will be 21 with some CC stuff, 20 with the dragonbone bow. Dragonbone arrows deal 25 base damage. Max skill will give you 100% extra damage on your weapon. Stealth gives you up to 6x multiplier on bows, and up to 15x on daggers. 12x2 is 24 damage on a dagger, x15 = 360 damage on a sneak attack 24x2 is 48, plus 25 from the arrow for 73, x3 for sneak is 219 damage on a sneak shot. Add to that the fact that weapon upgrades won't affect your arrow's damage, only the bow's, and bows fall further behind. And high stealth makes you basically invisible so you have no issue sneaking up to targets. - Until you get the 15x on daggers you can play stealth with a mace and still level your one-handed skill tree. - And 100 stealth gives you the perk that lets you crouch mid combat and still deal sneak attacks, even if you've been spotted, because you're invisible and undetectable for one second, you can even be permanently invisible and stealthed mid combat if you just teabag your way around.
