Fun fact: the Nords canonically don't have surnames. The closest thing they have to one is the titles. They may become the house names which can already be considered a surname, but as a rule, a Nord you meet is most likely to have just his name and maybe a title, depending on his accomplishments.

Aren't nord vikings inspired? If yeah they kinda do have a surname it's their dad name like Ivor son of Bjorn and so on but as soon as they do something heroic or saga worthy like for example raming their ship into enemy sinking it and surviving they become Ivor the ram and of course place of birth have a role in vikings surnames too so if we're going full vikings here it's more likely like this (fun fact surname Anderson began like this like someone son of Ander but overtime that just became Anderson as vikings began calling people Son of Andrew or Ander on British isles)
@Sigma-gb9yd4 ай бұрын
@@erfanshahidi2804 Most in Skyrim don't have a surname, but if they are required to have one for official or court reasons, then either a title, or a simplified version of 'son of parent' (like Ivorson as you used as an example) is used if a title is not available. So Alorn having a surname of Alornson is most likely realistic, while Karen the farmer wouldn't have one.
@erfanshahidi28044 ай бұрын
@@Sigma-gb9yd yeah because at the time surname didn't exist all I was saying is saying they don't have surname entirely is wrong because at the end of the day they all had that son of title to them

This is genuinely amazing, Skyrim (and TES in general) is one of my biggest inspirations for world building, and I've built many skyrim-like villages in modded Minecraft and other games, but actually building in skyrim is something I've never even considered a possibility, this is so cool.
@themoderndandy713Ай бұрын
I have a playthrough similar to this, but also different. I play a noble in Solitude who runs various businesses like these-along with a guild, real estate investments, and renting homes. She doesn't actually do any fighting or adventuring; she has bodyguards and mercenaries for that. She spends a good deal of time in taverns gambling, and she contributes to the Civil War with large heaps of gold. It's the antithesis to how "Skyrim" was meant to be played, and I absolutely love her.

This is awesome! Thank you so much. I re-watch the series often. Having it all in one movie is great for me, when I want to watch the whole series in one sitting, but I still have the playlist of the series if I want to watch a certain part of his journey. I've been subscribed for a little while now, and I think this is my first time commenting. I found your channel when I was looking for some challenges I can incorporate into my roleplay saves, and KZbin suggested you. I prioritise smaller or just starting out channels over channels with a higher subscriber count, when I'm looking for that sort of thing. I don't play with mods, so the challenge I found wasn't something I could do but did love watching. I think you had only done the first Alorn Alornsson video them, but it was certainly wanting to see more of Alorn's journey that keeps me coming back. For that reason, Alorn has a special place in my heart, that it allowed me to find your videos, and get much enjoyment from watching them.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it or if you’re using the mod already but if you want to add Conqest Of Skyrim too this list than you’ll be able to take over the rest of Skyrim and expand your empire 💯

Does this work now? Last time I saw it was a bit buggy

@@ValePlaysGames I’ve already played a whole play through of conquest of Skyrim, you just have to make sure you finish all side/main quests before you start and also don’t touch the civil war quest let the conquest be that. I play on Xbox so if you have a good PC I’m sure you’ll be able to get it working

Oh, it’s a longer version. I thought the introduction to Sweetroll seemed familiar.

All of the episodes combined :) Thought it’d be a fun experience! New video was taking longer than expected so a little treat
