The three skull game is purely RNG and the same animation plays every time. It can only ever pay out (and dissapear) with one item, which is the 'fly' you saw but couldn't win - Skatole, which makes all flies neutral to you or move much slower (not friendly like Lord of the Flies transformation) Luck does not affect it, and the only way to increase your odds of winning (also with other machines and beggars) is with the Lucky Foot item, which Cain starts with

The left hand is nice especially if you get it erly for one reason alone : Guppy , all the items for the transformation spawns in red chests and once you get guppys tail you have many chests spawn and having them turned into red chests means you dont need keys to open them 👍

1:02:33 Decorative tiles are tiles that have some sort of decoration on them that DOES NOT affect gameplay in any way. In the room you found the rune, the tiles with 3 'coins' on it was a decorative tile. (I'm actually not sure about the other 'marks' in that room since it is essentially just 'wood plank textures') Other decorative tiles include small splatters(just make sure it's not from an enemy that just leaves marks as it moves/attacks) or other textures on the ground Pits and fireplaces are not decorative, so don't work for this(unless something else happens to be decorating that spot as well)

Allready having a guppy item and dropping left hand was painful to watch also 19 bombs and not blowing up skulls they kan have black hearts 😊 🧼
