Hey jimmy love these hotlap vidoes your doing recently but here's an idea for you, Why don't you when you say your making setup changes to your car, well why don't you show us what it is your changing if that makes sense, and probably give us some tips on what to look out for. Just for those like me who are new to the sim racing world and don't understand what's changed or what's going on ? Doesn't have to be a long video but just like a mini guide or something with some handy pointers for the track and car your working with ? Just an idea for you for now to think on it but loving these types of videos recently jimmy looks so realistic at times and making me wanting to start doing at lot more on project cars. Keep up the great work mate

Check viperconcept's videos, he's pretty good for beginners. Also, setups are more a thing that you have to play with and experience yourself on sims to see how every different car reacts. Assetto Corsa is nice because it tells you in detail how every single little setup change affects the car.

I agree with the other comment. Setup knowledge is really hard to take in when just watching a video. I'm saying this based from my experience where I didn't really learn that much watching other's vid (viperconcept setup vid). It's better for you to just have your "cheat sheet" and just fiddle with the setup until you get the hang of creating the setup you are comfortable with. Track tips are very good in my opinion and Jimmy should do it. He gives some from time to time with these hotlap videos but really not enough IMO

You can find a lot of time on the brakes as you are applying pressure and realising the pressure and applying it again. So you can brake a lot later by putting lots of pressure once and then slowly release it once

For the extra DRS zones you can find an ini file on RaceDepartment that you just need to drop into the track's folder. If you can't find one on RaceDepartment you can always edit the drs_zones.ini in the track folder yourself(maybe only if you are close to the pole lap but just can't do it without the extra DRS zone) www.racedepartment.com/downloads/ks-silverstone-3-drs-zone.21929/

If you hit the Apex's in the start of the first sector and the end of the last sector you could have easily gained half a second plus. Also try to not be so tense in your driving. You can see your shoulders relax as soon as you come across the line. None the less a very good representation and video

You shouldn't "feel" the turbo. These f1 cars keep the turbo spooled up with the electric motor so they essentially have no lag. That's not to say you wont get power spikes but that should from be the power band not being linear. If this mod has turbo lag it's not accurate l.

Next time we should search for other angles, quite far away from any red cars because they would hit us on purpose. You're trying to make the time up on the straights when you should be trying to do that in the corners. Red Bull was running Spa levels of downforce. Mercedes and Ferrari were running more than that because they have a lot more power. Also three drs zones this year. Turn one flat with drs open.

Huldenreich1 the recordings record only the left eye. If it was recording both eyes (for a central POV), we’d need some form of VR glasses to view the content ourselves in the desired way. At least that’s how I think it works? (I’m sure I’m wrong about it)

It's fairly simple to edit the DRS zones manually for a track. I added DRS zones for Gilles Villenueve. It's just an .INI-file where you add the points as a percentage of the lap. Of course, you're gonna lack the visual DRS signs on the track but it works nonetheless.
