Time for another Minecraft challenge. This time we'll be trying to get to the end and beat the dragon in a pure mushroom world. Can we beat the game amidst a the mycelium plains? Let's find out.

You can always use striders or piglins to get string. Also, piglins can drop you spectral arrows, and baby zombified piglins can rarely spawn riding chickens.

I never really took interest in Minecraft "lore", but this particular world makes for a very interesting concept: that there was a civilization in the past, destroyed when the fungus took over the world and killed almost all animal life. The land is silent apart from the occasional moo of a diseased cow, and no usable plant matter remains, all of it being soft, infected growth. Amidst this, the player is sent to remedy the damages and restore nature. Where did the fungus come from - another dimension? The only way the player can survive is by using wood and string from the mines of the extinct civilization preserved deep underground, where the spores don't take hold in the dry air.

That was a pretty interesting challenge, especially with how no hostile mobs spawn (with monster spawners and a few other things being an exception) anywhere in the world. Here is an idea for a challenge that would probably be more tedious than fun, so it probably won't be too fun, but I still wanted to list it regardless. So from testing the other day, I found out that the Deep Dark can technically be made to be a single biome in Minecraft. It doesn't seem to be purely just the Deep Dark, but it does spread a lot of it onto the overworld, and allows for the Warden to spawn even on the surface. It might not be the most entertaining challenge, but it could still be interesting to see, and if someone can beat that, they'll probably be an expert at dealing with the Deep Dark and won't ever have to truly worry about the Warden again in worlds after that.

If my mans could get a single grass block, things would be so much easier. Bones from skeletons in the nether to become bone meal, use on grass to get... well... grass, and break the grass for seeds to finally begin the process of sustainable agriculture, and by proxy, meat production.

Considering you had iron, you could have crafted shears and used those on the cobwebs instead of the sword, thereby netting you a cobweb which can be crafted into 9 string, rather than just one.

Another way to get wood would have been to find a shipwreck and mine its wood (although it is underwater so I can see why you didn't go for that)

You could have gotten more string by using shears to obtain it, then crafting the cobweb into 9 string.

You can actually double arrows by crafting spectral arrows you use 1 arrow + 4 glowstone and get 2 spectral arrows doubling the arrows
