Me too! I have SO much diamond painting stuff cos I LOVE the craft so so so much. I like to turn on an audiobook or some tunes and just like, get lost in a painting. They're so much fun. I have MASSIVE ones that have taken me almost a year to finish up lol But even for as long as it takes, I don't mind because the finished project is always so breathtaking and the process is soothing ❤

They don’t have them anymore in diamond art club kits. They did away with them. And the tool kits are now different

I tried diamond painting once, it was fun, but I felt I needed to sit by a table, and I prefer to do my crafts cuddled up in my sofa. Also it is very similar to cross stitch which I do prefer :)

I feel that! I also love cuddling up while crafting. I did some digging around, and there seems to be easels specifically for diamond painting. that's something I'll look into for future sparkly projects ^^ I also looove xstitch! ♥

Here is an idea. You can use a lap table. It works. Never give up on diamond painting. It’s an art

​@@Shaiyeh I second that! I use a laptop lap desk off of amazon. I work in my comfy chair with my feet up and theres even room for my dog! I work from the top down and keep the undone part rolled up on my lap and when it gets finished once it gets long enough it gets rolled the opposite way under the desk (and on my dogs butt lol)

Anything with dmc under 150 is an ab and anything with a Z is a fairy dust and anything with a K is an iridescent and anything with an L is a crystal.

This has since changed. They are now using regular dmc codes for AB drills so instead of 141- it will be LABELED AB5200. Z is still fairy dust, etc

As soon as I saw Hanako-kun in the background I HAD to subscribe... Because I was doing a Hanako-kun diamond painting when I clicked on your video, IT'S FATE AHAHAH Anyway, you did absolutely wonderful with your first diamond painting! If you plan on picking up more diamond paintings (would love to see it), I 100% recommend getting a resin diamond painting pen that it's thicker and helps with any pain/strain you could experience. As someone with arthritis (at 27, lol) I would say that it's really a game changer. But if you're looking for a new craft to try I suggest: needle felting, if you haven't tried it yet (I just subscribed, I'm still in the process of discovering all of your videos, so sorry if you've done it before!)

My mom just picked up diamondpainting and shes obsessed with it And i recently just started crossstitching and damn i even do it in every free second i have so my thumb alrdy is in pain (struggling with chronicle pain is a mouthfull but that wont stop me from enjoying my artistic hobbys!) For me it looks like a big canvas. My first one was a 30x40cm yet I've done a 110x70 before. Anything that is above 50x50 I see as a large canvas

It's easier to paint the border with acrylic paint and a lot cheaper. That's my recommendation for the frame.
