The only way to fail at cycling is to take the longest route to getting all the flags. Try to go as far out of bounds as possible, go around in circles, just don't forget to pick up all flags and return to the starting gate for the attempt to count. If you don't make it to the end of Bird's-Eye Bullseye, it ranks you by how far you gone. If you make it to the finish, it ranks you by time. To fail at running, you gotta keep shaking your remote fast and let your mii fall over a bunch. There are times where if you're ahead of your guide for too long, your mii will stop and wait for them to catch up.

Genius game design. I especially love how most of the mini games give you the liberty to just roam around the island, instead of locking you in on a linear path. It reminds me of how I used to spend hours just flying around the island in the airplane minigame in wii sports resort. It's so fun because you don't expect a sports game to be so open.

For those who don't know, the reason he named the mii "Hector Zeroni" is because there is a 200+ page book caled " Holes.
