Here in South Africa 🇿🇦 we call the Dutch Oven a "potjie". It's like a "hey you, come here, bring your dop (beer) we're having "potjie" and we'll party. 😉. Food in these pots are delish. It's worth the wait cos you can chat, listen to music, make a salad 🥗 , crumbled mealie meal etc. You are really a good cook and just love your videos 📹. You're a very positive camper and inspire us too, and wish you many more. Cheers 🍻 . As an aside, I've been notified many times I've won a gift. Living in kinda darkest Africa it would be too expensive to send it here so maybe it can go to someone who loves your channels just as much as I do and make them eager to join Mother Natures campers.

Well Andy, I think you're a far better cook than anything Hello Fresh could put in a box, that's for sure. Seemed pretty basic and I hate to think what they charge. I always look forward to your camping and exploring videos.

Back as a child , id hunt and fish , from dads place to several of my kin folks 18 to 20 miles away through the woods and streams . I roasted most everything I caught or gather with a 22 rifle , I went by myself, just done what I knew to do , I learned how to cook after I was grown and went camping, fishing camps or hunting camps . Id have to go home to loose weight .

I see you found the sleve for the saw and axe , I like them more than the higher priced ones . Mine has a pocket to carry extra whetting stones , or I can carry a short shotgun , and ammo in the pocket . I use mine for different things , carry my saw and axe , ion my beck , arrange my shotgun in front, for quick use if needed . I ordered a shoulder bag , just long enough to break my ice fishing rods and reels down and carry with tackle . For mountain streams . Fresh water perch , from spring fed streams , has their own taste , just better to me .

Good thing with hello fresh, is if you have numerous email addresses, you can subscribe with several cards and names and get loads of freebies and discounts. Also if you get a slightly dodgy potato or carrot etc, just complain and get a £5-10 credit to use next time. Minimal wastage (although too much plastic packaging for my liking). But a 2 person meal does one person good for 2 meals. I rate them and have used them for over a year. Much bigger portions than gusto. Also once you’ve collected a selection of recipe cards, you can just go to your local shops and buy the ingredients, to cook again. And yea. Great free bottle of rubicon every now and again.

Andy, you mentioned really liking Tacos during the Live Stream. Have you tried making tacos with Fry Bread instead of tortillas? I use to make Fry Bread all the time, it's really easy. Flour, baking powder, salt, and water. Some recipes add powdered milk, and/or sugar. Or use milk instead of water. I've made Fry Bread out of a Bannock baking mix I got from an old friend of mine. Used the same mix to make Bannock Donuts as well. But you mix up a basic dough, roll or pat it out in to rounds as thick or as thin as you like and toss them in hot oil. You can make them as big around as the skillet or Dutch Oven you're frying them in if you like. I prefer my Dutch Oven since the inch or two of oil tends to splatter. Fry until golden brown. We'd put honey and powdered sugar on them as a desert treat Or fill them with taco meat, cheese, refried beans. One of my teachers in High School for my Restaurant Occupations class use to make and sell "Indian Tacos" at the local Pow Wows and they were always good.

Tried Hello Fresh - they're not bad. Only one criticism. Too many recipes require use of the Oven for only a handful of potatoes! Which simply isn't economical, especially in this day and age. Recipes are superb indeed. And even the novice cook can follow the prepared instructions cards to make a decent edible meal absent mistakes, burned offerings etc!
