Wow Wow Wow!!!! Such kind words my friend.Let me know if there are other questions you'd like answered as you move from StreamYard to Ecamm. If you're on a Mac Ecamm is the hands down best option. If you havent already consider joining membership, it's $9 a month and ensures we can keep producing this kinds of content.

Thanks for this video. I really love Streamyard. I don’t think it is enough of a difference to switch. I do like the local ability which probably really helps with latency. Also the comments look a lot better on ecam. Great video! Thank you!

One thing I love about Ecamm is that you can play the vid either as an mp4 , or webm. MP4 seems to play in the bottom of a scene (which I sometimes don’t like), and has far more controls. A webm has less controls, but can be layered wherever you want in that scene, and you can customize it. Kinda wish they made they’d look into the mp4 file being able to customize and place that file wherever you want in the scene as well
@kirkrnugent3 ай бұрын
Hey Shaka, thanks for the comment. What you describe is how both video formats work. MP4 can't be played as a layer it has to be the entire scene, while webm gives you the flexibility with the audio. MP4 can also be used as an animated overlay but you dont get any audio. If you havent already consider joining membership, it's $9 a month and ensures we can keep producing this kinds of content.

Can you record video and stream it later?
@kirkrnugent2 ай бұрын
@@weatherwatchok absolutely! Actually I use Ecamm to record all my videos including this one. When streaming it later it’s not automated so you will have to go live and then play the video but the rest can be automated in terms of ending the broadcast. Hope that answers the question, thanks for the comment and support.

Streamyard just seems to works better in practice. Guests have lots of issues connecting with ecamm but 0 issues w streamyard. Streams with streamyard have crisp and level audio. ecamm audio is not level and impossible to fix later. I would say the audio problems are the biggest issues. Getting complaints from viewers. Streamyard streams are just flawless and less headache.
@kirkrnugentАй бұрын
@saintwolfvision thanks for the comment and support of the channel. Also thanks for sharing your detailed experience between the two platforms. The cost difference between the two has caused many to rethink what platform they will chose. StreamYard was always more expensive but have recently increased significantly. That said the issues you've detailed with Ecamm I assume come from you're own experience which I respect and also respectfully disagree completely. I use Ecamm to create every video on this channel and for every live show. I have way more audio control in Ecamm than SY I havent had issues with guests for myself or client projects and I have so much more flexibility to design and brand my content with Ecamm than SY. Also use Ecamm at my church where we have thousands watching every week. Similar to SY you can record isolated audio tracks so you have unlimited flexibility to correct issues in post. Lastly the video quality between the two can't be compared. StreamYards 1080p simply isn't 1080p and ive worked with support to confirm that. Where Ecamms 1080p is true and they have 4k as an option. StreamYard has its strengths it's super simple and limited personally I can NOT share that it's flawless but I also would NOT say Ecamm is flawless either. Again I thank you for your comment and just want to share my own experience as well with both platforms.

Yes, you can record a webinar, schedule it, and launch it as "live" on Ecamm. If yes, how?

@@empresariosonline9862 thanks for the comments and support of the channel. To your question, I mostly do live webinars which I accomplish through Ecamm and zoom. Even with StreamYard I've only done live webinars using the OnAir feature. So when you say launch it are you referring to pre-recorded?

@@TEMDeuce I hope I'm answering this question properly.
