I used to eat at restaurants with food critic friend. His wife didn't like eating so much, so he always called me. We'd each order 5-6 dishes with 3-4 appetisers. It was no charge to either of us as it was his company card. *Best time of my life.*

Whew! So glad you enjoyed that! It's always a little nerve wracking when someone asks me to suggest 'The Best'... but that Nashville fried chicken sandwich is the best North of Nashville.

Hot chicken is a bit of a conundrum, though. It isn't just a breaded piece of chicken in a heap of cayenne. That doesn't taste good. You have to get that pickle juice buttermilk brine sorted before you balance that with the HOT post-fry bath.

I just had the Porchetta sandwich from Porchetta & Co, as featured in the video above. Man, he's right - that was the best pork sandwich I've ever eaten! That crackling under the meat definitely takes things up a notch. Can't wait to run the rest of the menu in coming weeks! Great job as always, Food Busker! Also, I've been a big fan of Rudy burgers and Sansotei Ramen as well - great to see you highlighting them!

Make your own special sandwich series, making 2 versions, 1 the easy with ketchup mayo buns already made, and 2 all from scratch, put in both prices and, see witch is best with both positives and negatives in both ways... Or just make a sandwich series with tips and tricks and of course your amazing ideas we all love...

I think the buttermilk fried chicken would be worth to try replicate. It was basic to most of 'em Sandwiches. And of course the Nashville sauce. Btw: the "Brothers green eats" lately showed how to make pastrami at home.

Brother, Porchetta is a good spot and a place I would have recommended. I prefer their chicken sandwiches to the Porchetta (call me crazy). Next time you're in Toronto, I would gladly take you to some of the other best sandwiches in the city, some well known, others less so. 1. Banh mi boys (grilled pork banh mi = heaven) 2. Grilled chicken sandwich from Caldense bakery (unless you're Portuguese, you won't know about this one. It's a best kept secret situation, especially because Portuguese bread is the shit) 3. California sandwiches (veal sandwich, old school, family run business. Same today as 30 years ago. And a massive sandwich) 4. 5 guys burgers and fries (a franchise, yes, but you'd be hard pressed to find a better burger) 5. Alexandros gyros (that's right, gyros on a pita equals sandwich. And for my money, this is some of the best pork you will eat) Seriously chef John, I'd be happy to take you to these spots next time you're in town.

Food Busker: "Let me know if there are any of these recipes you want" Me "Like... all of them? XD" In all seriousness though, I really like the Porchetta one and I would like to see you take on the truffle mayo. Also, I don't know the Nashville Sandwich, but it did get my curiosity, so I also would like a recipe of it. The other three seem relatively straightforward ones, so I don't see the need for a video, but I would see them anyway. But I'm still looking forward to the Ramen Cheat recipe =)
