you finding the 5th key gave me the extra push/idea how to do it myself so I can finish this off, cheers mate on a side note, rng is cancer, I was realistically done with the game 4-5 runs before finding the last key, making it pretty pointless; sort of soured the game slightly for me, definitely not as bad here as enter the gungeon tho

Spreedrun strat: In the first or second wave when you get one of the weak flying units. Keep it alive. It doesn't do enough damage by itself to really hurt you, it stops other waves from spawning from the purple timer, and it will let you keep mining longer by not having to keep exiting mines to fight more waves.

If you're min/maxing and not clearing mines, leave a block at the start of each mine entrance, and only take it when the rest of the mine is clear. makes it easy to remember if it's cleared or not.

That works if you dont have the seismic upgrade installed on the spider cause otherwise it'll destroy every block automatically on time and the only way to check if you already cleared or not is to leave a block into the middle way of the mine. (not working either if you already have maxed the seismic system).

21:00 A "200 IQ move" is to upgrade the seismic generator and to press 5 more often as for speed, use shift more often and also upgrade it a bit more especially if received early. With the speed upgrade you can with a good split drill outrun the missle so you can hit deeper in some mines.

And as for spoiling (I am saying this, towards a content creator), you will find that after killing "it" there is sadly, nothing extra to the game as you can only quit for now or go trophie hunting. I'm sorry but it can safe you time making another run.

In theory it's a good idea to try to outrun the torpedo and mine ahead of it to get it further in. But what I've found, with the upgrades to the entrance laser, is that it more often than not will hit the unbreakable wall.

This is exactly the kind of reaction I had after finding the last key in just a few minutes. Just rushing towards the edge of the map, hoping to find it. And the upgrades were a nice find too! I sincerely love this game.

35:47 - you only find upgrades for weapons you have, so to not dilute the pool you could not pick up more weapons.

The lag spikes while in the clouds come from the biome change, if you look at the background (you may only see it if you are zoomed out in battle mode) it changes at the exact moment of the lag spike. Also, regarding the biome change, be careful with the resources left behind. If you change biome, all the resources that are mined but uncollected will despawn.

I also had some FPS problems after few hours of playing(20-30 fps). A restart of the game fixed it for me. That happened twice.

So you can't walk thru the walkers when they put up the shield claws but when they are walking you stomp them. Watch the animation.

So, you're getting the things that let you mine faster. But why are you skipping the techs that increase your yields? Sure the mining is super fast, but every mine you open up the rocket will "mine" most of the ores, right? Wouldn't getting the extra yields be more efficient time wise? As the bottleneck is the purple not so much the other special ores.

It’s not a glitch with the claws, look at the robo spider, the bottom leg isn’t upgraded yet. You figured it out this vid, then went back to the glitch explanation:)

It is a bug, tho. There is no such thing as one side being upgraded and not the other. The claws look exactly the same, except the one below is darker because of lights and shadows
