Minecraft Survival on One Block [#10]

Create Survival Minecraft is cool, but way too easy. So, what if you remove the ground? In this series Shalz and Cactus survive with Create, but without terrain.

3:00 If you're gonna be building multiple of the same farm (like the tree farm), then yeah, the build cannon makes sense, it's a grind and not a new creative process. Otherwise do what you wanna do, it's your world and your play-through, I don't really mind it either way.

@@youanplayz I'm pretty sure the pumkin one prevents endermen from attacking you if you stare at them, you can view the description in game by holding shift and hovering over the item

I originally checked a different website, and the pumpkin one didn't show up, and it said that the other backpacks that wasn't mention does not yet have abilities. Another thing, I remember Shalz mention it was a different mod, so I thought it wasn't the adventurer backpack mod sorry... yap too much lol, also I don't have pc so I don't play java stuff

Shalz during timelaps: Schematicannon doesn't give me the same creativity feeling I get building things myself, it loses the authenticity of building things. When it just appears there, it doesn't feel like I did it, it feels like someone else built it Shalz immediately after: That felt great! it just appeared there

cannon for repetatives makes more then perfect sense. and honestly is more likely then not how its supposed to be. rather then making in a separate instance it was probably supposed to be : first make one, then copy, then past using cannon, all in the same world. being able to make it in creative first is just a luxury.

Instead of Void Motors, you should use the Create Crafts & Additions mod that allows you to convert rotational power into electricity. Then you can set up power poles from your power plant to other parts of your base and use electric motors to power things there. Seems better than using void motors in my opinion.

those tree farms are the perfect use case for the schematicannon: mass produced buildings that you just need to pop multiple times. For more customized stuff you build them by hand but man im not gonna build 5 farms by hand when they're all the same structure

for people struggling with motivation to build something nice schematicannon is the goat. in creative designing a build is so easy but still takes a bunch of time. Then you can print it in in survival to not build it for the second time but slower...

For the schematicannon, I for one love it. I make and designs things in creative but I have a problem when I make things, I can't remember what I did, how I did it, or what I used to do it. The schematicannon and blueprint combination is such an amazing addition by create since I don't have to dig and hurt my brain on what I did in the creative world. I just make, copy and paste it in the survival world with friends. One of the problems when I do things is I lose motivation on recreating what I did. I also do the same thing when I code, I always make an over excessive comments on what I did with my code because I know when I want to reuse that code I'll forget what I did and how it works

A note on those void motors, you can have multiple outputs with 1 input. You only need to craft 1 that all your steam engines connect to like a hub (you dont even need to give it a channel, empty counts as a channel) and it will send it to all other void motors even if theres like 20 outputs

You could prevent water from freezing with 2 easy solutions 1, Waterlogged slab/stair 2, a block above the water Personally I go with Waterlogged slab/stair

0:28 Feel it necessary to mention, despite popular belief, there is in fact a small 1 sapling variant of the jungle trees that is significantly easier to farm. Joking "um, acktually" aside, looking forwards to what you do with some of the more... Unwieldy trees. Could do something wild with full 2x2 jungle saplings. Hope you find something good for dark oak, that's a good looking wood type.

Btw you can grow both jungle and spruce as single and double you may need to modify the domes a tiny bit to make it taller but they grow like all other trees, both dark oak and the pale garden ones need a 2x2 saplings

i personally like the schematicannon because i know that there is absolutely no way in hell that i could replicate a build from creative in a survival world. like last week i built a huge factory i spent hours on and I Would Not Be Able To Replicate That (and even then i would hate the process) and besides. if you hate it, that's fiiine - nobody's forcing you to use it. do it the way you wanna. that's basically what the whole mod is about

My perspective on the schematic canon… It enables you to be productive whilst repetitive builds are completed. Perhaps you could have worked on the pathways or conveyor systems while the farms were built?
