I love that the majestic bird is now a climbing move😂😂

Love that you're getting a bit more loose with the format. I greatly enjoy the compclimbing series, but it's nice to have some variety with these more impromptu vids. Keep it up

That was such a fun video!! Loved how at ease you were vlogging with people around. The format was also really fun; it emphasized your beta reading. Also loved seeing you flash my projects and your take on their grade 😅 Would love to see one of these with both of you doing the challenge (pls do Allez-Up Mile End!!)

Haha yes we’ll do this video challenge again and I’ll try to get maddie to join ;)

Fun video idea! Loved the explanations for each boulder

That shadow matching technique is dope, I always make the mistake of trying big moves when subtle ones like this work so efficiently!

As always love the vlog style!

I especially love how lately you decided to slap grades on boulders with no questions asked instead of claiming that your guess is a rough estimate

Love these type of videos. For advice with the mic, consider syncing it with the camera's mic still recording. That way it doesn't sound so silent with breakthrough noises of the background :o

I think that majestic bird move should be called 'the Zach'.

This is weird, who are you? "insert video captions till here." was not said at the end 😮 Da best vlog beoble ever, it would also be nice if you guys live streamed a whole session once, just so we can see the pace you both climb at, resting time, ideas about the betas/moves, possible solutions, struggles, that kind of things. Big thanks to Maddie, the slab queen, with the incredibly steady hands and showing us the angles😊🙏 👋, this is for Sabrina in the back.

Haha 🙏 True a livestream would be a fun idea I’m sure we’d do one eventually!

Would have loved to see the end of the blue holds lâché. :'^( Nice to have your opinion on grades, though. Really cheered you on to get the (not-so-step-up) dyno so you wouldn't have to sleep on the couch for a week. Good job,sir.

Hey so I'm just curious about what your inner dialogue might be like concerning "low percentage moves". I mean, we all implicitly understand what low percentage moves are but what exactly does it mean? Do you expect to drop it frequently? How frequently? Still frequently after practice on that one move? Still low percentage if it's Tomoa or Janja?
@richardsonsclimbingАй бұрын
I think the moral of the story with low percentage moves is that there is a lot more to think about upon the setup of the move. Usually there are a lot of moving parts (i.e. a hand and a foot landing at the same time, having to hit a crimp with a blocker on it so you have to be precise, etc). It’s hard to think about all these things at once and you have to focus on all the elements of the moves peripherally, thus decreasing your focus on each individual element of the move making it less likely to be executed well! Expect for tomoa and Janja of course they are just built different :)
