Can I get a DWI from Prescription Medication?

Just happened to me, no abuse, and have been on the same script for over 8 years. Doesn’t impair me at all. But the police that stopped me after following me had nothing on me til I stated I take prescription medication, then got a dui. Question is, with a lawyer, 1st offence, this should be dismissed in my eyes. I wasn’t impaired, the name of my medication is what got me arrested

these DUI laws would mean millions of senior citizens cannot drive because of the use of prescriptions.

What about a federally run Methadone clinic?
