Nation even harder than this challenge. There has been, I believe less than 30 three pitch innings in the hundereds of thousands maybe even millions of innings pitched and he'd have to do it nine times in one game.

Perfect games have already been done before. It means there were no errors, hits, or walks. A 27 pitch game would never happen, because there will always be at least one batter who chooses to not swing on the first pitch, so it's not even given a name. Now, Striking out the side 9 times in a row is much more of a feasible accomplishment. There have already been pitchers who've struck out 20. And if it happened on 81 pitches it wouldn't be referred to as a perfect game. It'd be called the immaculate game; there have already been pitchers who have thrown out the side on 9 pitches in singular innings.

TD, you don't want to fill the meter when pitching everytime. That ruins your accuracy. You just want to go halfway most of the time.

I'm also trying to do this with my RTTS pitcher. Best I've gotten is to the 5th inning, ended one game with 26 K's. It is beyond frustrating, especially when you can't control your fielders and they catch the foul balls.

you should try again without maxing out the meter ever time (if you havent already). I mean there is no need to throw a change up at full velocity since that defeats the purpose. Create a beast of a starting pitcher in RTTS with a 4 seam, knuckleball, and curve. Add another breaking fastball of your choice with training points in the first season of your career. Build him up for a few years, only go full power on the meter when absolutely needed, and you might be able to get 27 strike outs.

In real life in the milb I’m the cardinals system a pitcher did 25 of 28. Gave up one hit, and two guys just bunted. Had a short career. But one things for sure you do this today in AAA you will get called up.

You could have just tried to finish the perfect game on the one that got to the sixth even if it wasn’t an all strike out perfect game. Also as I’ve found from using really short games to see the perfect game animation on games they usually seem really boring and and meaningless when you force them like that (or by controlling both teams and making the other team intentionally strike out every time).
