Matt I have a really good excercise you can do and make it famous. Everyone will love it, the name is 7'1, 7to1 or 7'2'1. You start either or soccer field, treadmill you jog 7 minutes and sprint 1 you then jog 6 minutes sprint 1 then you go 5 minutes jog sprint 1 and so on until you finished very soccer realistic. You jog 28 minutes and sprint 7 almost the whole half only off by 10 minutes. If you like it and do it please salute Agua Prieta, Sonora Mexico. Keep up the videos especially offseason.

Hoi Matt, i‘ve been following your journey since your time in germany (i live near Lörrach). I also spend time in New Zealand playing football. Now at 35 with 2 kids, just low level football for fun where i dont need to give 100%. Don’t want to get injured 😅. I sometimes wonder about your mental health and your happiness. Just a thought. Its not easy to balance the family life and the pressure that high level football demands. Hope you are doing well. Take care :)

How do most other USL-level players actually make money during the off-season? I assume some of them work temporary jobs during the winter?
@joshmorgan2282 күн бұрын
Some do private lesson soccer training and some work at Taco Bell or Target (no joke)
@agemodeor49812 күн бұрын
@@joshmorgan228 I doubt that they work at fast food restaurants or something like that. You make enough money in USL to be fully focused on football without a need to get a second job

@@agemodeor4981 I think that’s for during the season, but I asked about during off-season. Unless someone’s contract pays them throughout the entire calendar year or they sign in early January, they’re provably needing a job to get through the offseason. Just my guess though since I’m not a soccer player. I can see where they would do private coaching sessions as their offseason supplemental income of course.

@@dansugardude2655I think his contract at Detroit is multi-year so he gets paid during offseason could be wrong tho idk 😅

Appreciate the timestamps! Any idea why youtube doesn't put chapter marks on the timelines itself in the video? Some videos have them, some don't, with no apparent rhyme or reason. Any ideas?
