My husband takes Ozempic to control his diabetes. He has lost almost 25 pounds but his appetite is almost nothing. If he eats when he is not hungry, he is sick to his stomach. Finding foods that will naturally help us suppress our appetite is by far, more beneficial for us in the long run. Loved the content, Thomas!!

You should tell your husband to grow a pear and have a little bit of self-discipline. Taking a destructive drug. Just so you stop putting bad food in your mouth is pathetic and weak. It's called the keto diet and he'll drop all the weight you need while remaining healthy Cutting your hands off so you quit twiddling your thumbs is not the answer

I’m in the same boat. My husband was able to control his sugars perfectly and had no issues with his type 2 diabetes. He exercised, his weight was fine, but he needed to work on cleaning up his diet. After he got the C vaccine he has never been able to get his sugars in control. Now he has problems with his weight, and sugar balance. That shot really messes with hormones. He’s been on Ozempic For about 6 months and he has lost weight but he also has no appetite most of the time. He looks unhealthy to me, does not have a healthy appetite, and doesn’t have the energy he used to have. I’m trying to get him on board with changing his diet so he doesn’t have to do Ozempic. I’ve heard some horror stories with that stuff! I’m sending him this video. Good luck to your husband.

Does decaf coffee have the same fatburn effect as regular coffee??
@magmariee18 сағат бұрын
Good question. I researched this and my understanding is that caffeine helps burn fat since it speeds up your metabolism plus decaf is processed, they process it to remove caffeine.. so better to have regular just less. I usually have one shot (not two) since I’m sensitive to caffeine. Or I have half a spoon of organic instant etc. instant chicory is great to replace coffee and helps metabolism too. Tastes like coffee and no caffeine!

110lbs gone and kept off for over 10 years. Found I was doing a few things you recommend here! When I eat “keto” foods that don’t have enough protein, my appetite goes up gradually. Making sure I get my whey in (I am lazy so I came up with a super simple recipe: Raw organic whey concentrate, 60gms, 1/2 TBS Brain octane c8 mct oil, 1 tsp Sunbutyrate oil, redmonds real salt and water to mix into a paste). Great lunch! Of course it’s also nice made into a beverage, ice cream or waffle with other ingredients. I do find the hot peppers added to dinner of ground beef or venison & low carb veg are extra satiating. Long ago, I read the Mood Cure and incorporate tyrosine and dlpa (separately, on an empty stomach) and just 1 - 50 mg enteric release 5 htp a day. Wonder which channels these address for appetite reduction? I take 2 green coffee coffee genic because I read it reduces glucose production by the liver under stress, and is anti-depressant. In the late morning (my “breakfast), I make a hot drink, in lieu of coffee: of a square of alter eco blackout chocolate, 1tsp culinary dark cocoa, dash redmonds salt, 1/2 TBS of brain octane and 1 tsp of Sunbutyrate plus 16oz hot water and mix. A kind of bulletproof cocoa, just not sweet (acquired taste - like black coffee). Keeps me full til late afternoon and my 1.5 meals a day. Occasional treats have now switched to allulose based or combo allulose erythritol. Like bamboo fiber (biscuits or waffles, so far). Was able to feel very “treated” over the holidays, without usual fat gain. I stay very low carb, and if I rarely eat potatoes or beans, I take starch blocker “Phase 2”. Sure appreciate the nudges you give! I also have greatly improved by adding red light (mostly from outdoors and a device) with 2.5 mg (from drops) of methylene blue for mitochondrial improvement post-covid. So grateful!

Hi, I'm on Ozempic and starting dose is .25 mg until the pen runs out. The first few weeks were very rough. I've found that my tastes buds have changed. Sweet tastes much sweeter. Salty and oily things taste gross now. If I eat a high-fat meal, I tend to vomit within two hours. I've found that my cravings for junk have dropped significantly. Also learned that frequent, small meals are better for the heartburn and indigestion. The nausea comes and goes. My weight isn't going down much yet, but I'm at the one month mark. I also take Jardiance. My fasting blood sugar upon awakening has dropped from 160's to the 120's already. Even though the scale isn't moving much, my clothes are getting looser. I am thinking about trying carnivore for a week to get the weight loss going in the right direction.

If you're looking to suppress your appetite, certain foods may help. Here are some options: 1. **High-Protein Foods**: Foods like chicken, turkey, fish, eggs, and legumes can help you feel fuller for longer. 2. **High-Fiber Foods**: Vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and legumes are rich in fiber, which can promote a feeling of fullness. 3. **Healthy Fats**: Avocados, nuts, seeds, and olive oil can help you feel satisfied and reduce hunger. 4. **Water-Rich Foods**: Foods with high water content, such as cucumbers, watermelon, and celery, can fill you up without adding many calories. 5. **Spicy Foods**: Spices like cayenne pepper may help reduce appetite temporarily. 6. **Green Tea**: Some studies suggest that green tea can help suppress appetite and boost metabolism. 7. **Greek Yogurt**: High in protein and probiotics, it can keep you feeling full. 8. **Chia Seeds**: These seeds expand in your stomach and can create a sense of fullness. 9. **Broth-Based Soups**: Low-calorie soups can fill you up before a meal. 10. **Dark Chocolate**: In moderation, it can reduce cravings for sweet snacks. It's important to remember that individual responses to food can vary, so what works for one person might not work for another. Additionally, focus on a balanced diet and consult a healthcare professional for personalized advice. Thanks 🙏 Thom

9:50 - Was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes last year and a common thing people say is to go for a walk after eating. But, what qualifies as "A Walk"? No one can ever agree to what that answer should be. How many steps? How long? What pace? Is it a casual stroll around the block for 10-15 minutes or am I speed walking several kilometers for over an hour?

Thomas, you are a world of information for me in many ways. I appreciate many of your videos. I am not always able to absorb them, but I want to say thank you in this particular video these injections for weight loss help I’m unable to take. It’s a bittersweet although I’m glad I’m not able to. I had three cancers liver, esophagus, and thyroid, and I’ve developed Gastro pries which is the reason I can’t do the injections. I sometimes wish I could but grateful I can’t I think there’s a lot of harm with them.

Hey Thomas, why are my joint so "crunchy" feeling when getting down to a low body fat percentage? Do your joints feel worse off at lower body fat? What can be done about it?

Is this about the Sacha Inchi seeds? I started eating them last week and haven’t ate anything since….. jk but it either works or it’s a placebo due to me watching your other videos. Or, it could be that I am coming out of the flu and my appetite hasn’t fully returned. They taste like cardboard peanuts so I’ve been putting a small amount of avocado oil on them, just enough to coat them to get a seasoning to stick, then sprinkling some Tony’s creole seasoning on them

If you don’t mind me asking, what brand and where did you get your Sacha Inchi?
@KelvinMick-q5u16 сағат бұрын
@CallMeLilly1 the brand is Herbazest. It was $20 for a 1lb bag but I’m only eating two servings per day so it does last for me

Could someone tell me why blending butter in coffee with the mct oil is a bad idea? I genuinely would like to know.😊
