You jump 3 rotations per second, the average person jumps 100 rotations per minute, so there are 60 seconds in a minute. So if someone does 100 jumps in a minute, the average number of jumps per second can be calculated by dividing 100 by 60: 100 jumps / 60 seconds ≈ 1.67 jumps per second (rounded to two decimal places) Hope this helped lol.

1:16 so if a jump rope would need to make 800 rotations per second, and let’s assume that the distance from where it is above your head to under your feet is 7 feet in total, then that would mean for every rotation around your body the jump rope travels about 22 feet. So if you need it to spin 800 times in a second then the jump rope would be moving at 17600 feet per second which is 12,000 miles per hour. So basically all you would need to do is get your jump rope going Mach 16. Easy enough
@chloemccarthy22972 жыл бұрын
Thanks for saving me the calculations. I'll probably get another number calculating, but Mach 10+ is enough of an answer that I can be content with

It is theoretically possible to stop rain like that but it would need the wires to go way faster. You first have to calculate the randomness of the timing of each raindrop and the speed of the engine. That leaves you with around the speed of sound
