I was on a blog site and asked how many pounds people have lot riding their Lectric. The funniest one was "gain 5 pounds...kept stopping at the ice cream parlor". However, one person lost 130 pounds! But he did more than just ride.

@@tai.randomthings Funny thing is I was planning to do a 19 mile one way ride to get home made milk shake from this place I used to visit all the time, I suppose I will gain more calories than use up by riding the e bike.

It all depends on how much you pedal, I pedal all the time, I rarely ever use the throttle, might as well not even have one. So what I do is ride farther and longer than when I had a reg bike.

Hey Pedro...so very true. I try to use my pedal assist sparingly to get in a workout.

Good luck It takes strict discipline to not use the throttle or rely on pedal assist.
