This honestly feels easier than the US version as Europe as a whole is more densely populated than the continental US so you’re much more likely to get a large or at least decently sized city every circle as opposed to the US where you could get one that hardly anyone knows about.
@durengaad44772 ай бұрын
Bro he has to wirte down the BIGGEST City in that circle. Their a like 20 or more big citys in each circle. In the US everything is far bigger and further away from another. Hitting multiple big is by logic not so realistic

I did some playing around to figure out what starting point yields the most rings. CG has 33 cities with Copenhagen. One might think Iceland, but that doesn't work because the next two rings are very wide at 400-600 km. Akureyri is only 41 cities and Reykjavik is 42 cities. I think the most cities would involve starting in Russia, near the Asia border. Here's what I found after messing around for 10 minutes (all cities are Russian unless otherwise specified): 50 - Makhachkala 53 - Ponta Delgada, Portugal 55 - Orsk 55 - Tarifa, Spain 56 - Lagos, Portugal 56 - Yekaterinburg 57 - Troitsk 57 - Chelyabinsk After doing this, I noticed that the high score is 58, so I assume that's the most possible. I don't know my 10k Russian cities along the Europe/Asia border. The 58 ring solution is probably near Troitsk or north of Chelyabinsk. HugeQuiz did not include Kamensk-Uralsky nor Rezh as being in Europe. Heading north, Serov is west of Yekaterinburg, but it isn't counted as Europe, either.
@deepowls16 күн бұрын
Miasskoye, Russia generates 58 cities. The user prplt mentioned that in a different comment.
@charliekoohler477411 күн бұрын
Could the Canary Islands be part of it? I wa just thinking, since technically they belong to spain. Or Greenland?
@deepowls11 күн бұрын
@@charliekoohler4774, no, since continents don't genetally go by political boundaries. I don't know how you could justify including Greenland or the Canary Islands, but exclude eastern Russia. Arguably, Reykjavik shouldn't count, as it's geologically part of North America. Most people find it easier to consider all of Iceland to be in Europe. North American Reykjavik would annoy quiz takers.

As a bilingual american, sometimes I forget how difficult it is for people to pronounce things in different languages. Greatest advice I've ever heard for that is to stop pronouncing (insert language) words in English. Pretend you can't read and forget all English rules, and then try pronouncing it in (insert language).
