The fun fact is that the original IG's uniform colour was Codex Grey, with Black flack jacket & helmet.

I'd completely forgotten that they used to have grey uniforms! That was a long time ago! Even by 2nd edition, they had moved onto the green armour (which is where I really got to know about the IG)

Im glad someone was thinking what I was thinking and swapping pallets with Starship troopers is epic like someone mentioned Nids with klendathal Bug colors, classic black and dark brown carapaces with yellow to yellow orange with mobile infantry guardsmen? awesome

I'm working on getting some nids into the colours of the bugs, hopefully in a couple of weeks I can get a scheme that works and make a video on it!

I get what you mean. The high contrast between the shadows and the highlights give it that effect.

Cadian Fleshtone>Bugman's Glow

Both have their use. Bugmans glow is a good base coat and then layer up with Cadian Fleshtone
