I used www.cmsnl.com my parts manual when trying to Identify pieces and parts. Just google "1974 Honda CB360 cmsnl" and it will take you to the parts diagrams. Really helped me. Thanks for the sub.

Now your working on something I'm very very familiar with. The CB360 is the 'red head stepchild' from Honda, it had some pretty serious issues but they can be fixed. The absolute worst problem, after cracked steering top yoke, which are quite difficult to find replacements as it's common from over-tightening. BTW, 360's never had the special washer found on late 350's (early 350's had a taper seat on top of fork legs) The cam bearings/rocker failures on CB/CJ250/360. Honda knew there was a problem with 350 if it was held at sustained high rpm for extended periods (there were various oil system modifications over the years, mostly undocumented by Honda) The 360 (and CB/CJ250) got a trochoidal oil pump instead of the cheaper to make but more expensive to install plunger pump of the 1960's design.(CB/CD 160~450/500T) It was an upgrade giving much better oil flow and pressure, problem is, oil pressure is TOO GOOD so the oil transfer piece in clutch cover to oil filter will open and dump oil back into sump. It means the cam bearings and rockers get very little to no oil at higher rpm ( around 1980 I had a CJ250 fail in 48 miles at 60~ 70mph) The modifications are not difficult but you do have to remove the clutch cover and you need a Dremel or similar I did a write up of it on 'Vintage Honda Twins' a while ago (I also did write up on 'Do The Ton' 12~14 years ago but that is very difficult to find as it was a reply to someone else's problem) One other thing people fail to understand, the centrifugal oil filter on the end of crankshaft is several hundred percent better than a replaceable paper filter, even sub 10 micron particles are removed and it doesn't open a relief valve like paper filter engines have (so oil filter is 'out of circuit' at many stages of engine operation, yes, even in your expensive car or truck)
