Would love to see some commentary/breakdown/coaching from you and Aizec during the points. Not every point but every couple of points. I almost lose interest just watching gameplay. Even if it’s my own. Excited for the evolution of this new series!

I'm looking forward to this series, there aren't a lot of DUPR opportunities locally, but I'm also on my own journey/push to try and rank up. Though admittedly mine is to try for 4.0.

I have always loved your content Chris and for every paddle I bought, I always made sure to use your links and code to support the channel. While I do think this is a great idea for a series, I think this would work way better if we see more of your personality or your daily pickleball life. Now we get a talking head again, which is great for a paddle review, but doesn't really work for something like this in my opinion. I would love to see your 5.0 journey, something a lot of amateur players aspire to. Maybe a little bit more of a vlog style would work way better for a concept like this. Think Casey Neistat, but for pickleball. Which is a lot of personality, but still has that professional camera work angle that you clearly love so much. Anyway, just my 5 cents. Keep up the good work.

Yup. Plenty of tweaking to be done as we work on the series more. 😄

Aizec trying really hard to steal the title of Tiny Shorts King from Louis. I think he's definitely succeeding by going for both short AND very tight. Unfortunately, I think a trading of titles ultimately ends up with us taking over 3.5 at best. 😄

Fun singles game to work on forehands: Each player must let the ball bounce twice in the service box before anyone can hit the kitchen or the non-serve box.

Great series! Biggest issue I noticed was when you hit thirds your team’s ability to get to the kitchen was much lower than any other player. Trajectory of thirds was a bit too high even when they landed in the kitchen, they were dead.
@rinab98762 сағат бұрын
Short serves. Hands look to be close to the body when at the kitchen, or at least you aren't catching the ball out front on speed ups / counters. Some of that might be that you are standing more upright rather than in a more athletic stance, like Aizec. Taking thirds on the rise from time to time. Not a lot of split steps. I do a lot of these things as well. I like the series, because it makes me look hard at what is going on, what things might be causing problems.

Glad someone pointed out the short serves. It was the first thing I noticed. It just gives your opponents easy returns and then you end up with really tough 3rds.

Also, Chris's speedups aren't ass, he just don't even bother to counter, he just has to get used to the patterns...

This was an exciting game to watch Chris! Not one lob shot though!

Might be fun to put on the screen which paddles everyone is using and if you can how they individually set up theirs.

Your backhand roll/flick is probably the least of your concerns, but i would suggest loosening your wrist and get used to flicking it, because right now your speeduos use alot of arm which makes it easy to see them coming imo...

Dupr algorithm sucks. I played with a bad partner we lost the game. My dupr went down twice much as he did. Makes no sense

Maybe if you put the protective eyeware on your face and not on your hat, you would have had a better “look” 👀 and outcome on the court. Remember safety first. ❤️🩹

DUPR is just a representation of who you play with. Log some games with some 5.5 rated players and win or lose you will be 5.0 in no time.

20:37 Is this what pickleball has become? Just drive it and end the rally in 2-3 hits? Yuck. No skill in that, especially if you're using a Ripple or Gearbox.
