First please accept my apologies? Autism research and assistance needs so much more than the little I give for WEEMs Motor Co and Five Dirty Bikers in their fundraising. It's not the same but it hits home for me. My oldest and greatest hero was my older/big brother that was born with a hole in his heart. When I was born and Matt was 5 he went to have the hole repaired and all our mother heard was he "may be " borderline mentally retarded. (mind you that was 1965) I watched our mother drive that nail into Matt's coffin his whole life and I obviously still hold a resentment. Matthew was stubborn to be sure and not quick but he was a Beautiful soul for those who took the time to see. Thank You Ladies for all your efforts to help the families with a Beautiful child. In my own volunteering I have been blessed with great people to be better examples than myself, but still a joy to be around. When my wife and I lost her battles it was decided all donations would either go to Breast Cancer or Autism research as the Army had her funeral expenses for us. When the numbers are so small compared to the population few people care to get involved. What is missed is the far reaching effects on families, friends and co-workers.
