Can I Seal or Expunge My Criminal Record in Massachusetts?

I have an assault with a shod foot. Conviction from 11 years ago.i haven't gotten into anymore trouble since then I'm now older and I own a business handling large amounts of cash and I would like to get this felony expunged and have my gun rights restored. Is that possible?

An expungement is probably not possible given the charges. You may be able to seal your record. A sealing prevents most people from seeing your record, but not all. Police departments generally still have access. Gun rights are largely discretionary with the chief of police in your city or town. Do you work out of Massachusetts? I have my felony in Massachusetts. But I currently live in Vermont. I was 18 when I got the convicted of attempted arson. I'm 40 years old now and been desperately wanting to get expunged.

I had a few things i was trying to get expunged basically all my cases were all dismissed but itjust looks bad for a job. How can i remove this?

That depends on a few things. Primarily, what the charge was.

Expungements only apply to criminal cases.

@@respectdatruth7160 is this in Massachusetts? when you say you were accused of harassment, do you mean someone took out a Harassment Order on you?
