It always frustrated me how NCAA and Madden really made players playing multiple positions on both sides of the ball not good. Like they get huge awareness nerfs and hits to other stats. Like, I dunno, your Center is probably not terrible at tackling but there you go he has 23 tackling. I feel like it would be really cool to have a full team of players who play both sides of the ball. Like 15ish players in total, and like your left tackle is also your kicker. That would be great. But alas, I don't think any game has ever really let you do that. There was even a span of madden games where literally you couldn't even move certain players to other positions on the depth chart. Like you can put your HB at FB and WR and that's it.

Interesting tip about walk-ons, there is a 10% chance that the walk-on will become really good. For each walk-on position, there are 10 possible recruits they can pull from in the database. One of those positions has a very high potential rating (which is hidden). How do I know. Well, I actually made those players (did Rosters for NCAA 11-14). I don't remember the exact percentage of regular 1-star recruits have a high potential. Also, the star rating for the recruits is also on the lowest percentage of recruits and not a specific range. So, there could be higher rater 1-star recruits in some years compared to others.
@wisey105 Жыл бұрын
For where the recruits will end up as RS-Seniors, they will most likely end up 50% between their initial rating and a 99 (so a 40 OVR Fr would most likely end up as a 70 OVER RS-Sr). Where players fell (percentage-wise) between their starting rating and a 99 fell mostly along a standard deviation curve. That seemed to be pretty balanced.
@SuperDuperHappyTime Жыл бұрын
I love the Pandas, Dingos, and Moon Men. But when you got to an assembled team, you were unbeatable, and few of those games ever went against you. I think that's something you know too, and why Dingos ended when it did, and Moon Men as well (and quite early). But keeping to 1 Stars... I think this is something you need to play for your next series. Peace.
