What If The World Went Into Total War?

Today, we take a look at a scenario where the entire world goes into total war. This video is a revamp of my "What If Every Country Went To War?" video, which was released months ago. I decided to make this mapping revamp because I feel like I have gained more knowledge, making for a better and more realistic scenario. So, every single country in the world, all 195, will be at war. Each country has to choose a side, red or blue, which is lead by the United States and Russia respectively. Every country has to get involved and contribute to this enormous war effort. Great video Adizz! I just think that some countries would be on different sides. Egypt and Ethiopia would be on the opposite side in my opinion. Also i think that Peru with Bolivia would join the red team with Venezuela. Because Nauru recognizes Abkazhia with South Ossetia, I think they would be on Russian side too. Also Qatar is hated by Saudi Arabia, UAE etc. so i think they would be on the same side as Iran. And lastly i would probably put Indonesia on the red team. Also, Merry Christmas y'all

Hey Adizz, I know some kind of trick (well it's not really a trick lol) to show occupied areas in wars or after coloring a nation, first, use the bucket tool and next to flood mode, there's something called "fill", click on the drop-down next to "Solid Color" and scroll down to wide downward/upward diagonal, select it and fill the area you want the next nation to occupy, if you want to change the colors, then select a different color for the primary and secondary colors, secondary is the background and primary's the lines itself, I hope this was useful to you.

@Hadley Phillips-Seatter I would say friendly but nothing more. Maybe a bit more friendly with France. South America in general doesn't really care much for Europe in general. During the Falkland war, Peru and several other countries supported Argentina against the UK. Countries that got their independence by force usually supported each other. Which is why the US didn't help the UK or why Ireland was for Argentina during the war.

Guyana has a massive border dispute with their neighbour Venezuela, they wouldnt join on the red side. Think of it as its Armenia, it doesnt have strong ties with russia but it would never be on the same side as Azerbaijan

With the Taiwan situation we have to look into how much the Taiwanese hate China and also how fortified it would be knowing that it would take China months to get a big enough forces and also there’s like a 2 week gap where landing on taiwan would actually be physically possible but other then that it’s a great video

In Africa I would see most of the "Françafrica" region align with the blue team since their currencies are linked to the Euro, except the countries with a lot of Russian presence like Mali for example which has been very rebellious lately. In the East, predicting Sudan is probably the hardest. Yes Ethiopia is building a dam that takes a lot of water from the Nile which Sudan relies on a little, but they don't rely on only the Nile and they're even buying electricity from Ethiopia thanks to their dam. But nevertheless I would see them joining the blue team with Egypt, mainly because I think the EAF would join the red team, thus opposing Sudan with South Sudan. The reason I think this is because the EAF's main trading partner is China and it would hurt them a lot to go against them. Also I don't think they would really want to go against Ethiopia either. Similarly, I think countries like Mozambique or the Zambia should also join the red team, as they "kinda" want to join the EAF so it wouldn't make that much sense to go against them. The north is easy to do. Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt are US allies. Yes, there's Israel for Egypt, but Egypt is still one of the few Arab countries to recognize Israel and they're not really on bad terms either. And yes, there's also Russia but still : Egypt likes Saudi Arabia, hates Iran and Ethiopia likes Iran and China. Meanwhile, Lybia would join the red team obviously, and same with Algeria and Mauritania as they don't like Morocco. Most of the rest of Africa would probably join the red team as most African countries have China as their main trading partner. This means that I would see Nigeria or Angola in the red team for example. The exceptions I would see are countries like Sierra Leone, Liberia or Guinea Bissau since they have good times with the "Françafrique", and maybe South Africa since it's pretty difficult to guess which team they would join, but if they join the blue team their neighbors (except Mozambique previously mentioned) could also join the blue team as they don't want to be crushed by South Africa.

The US has sent significant economic assistance to Egypt, over 50B on military aid and 30B economic assistance since 1978. In 2013 the current president, Al-sisi led a military coup against the ex-president Mohammed Morsi who was part of the Muslim brotherhood which is an alliance with heavily anti American sentiment. Egypt is MOST DEFINITELY part of the blue team

I've got a suggestion: What if the War on Terror was worse? Like if NATO and the US invaded countries known for terrorism besides Iraq and Afghanistan? Countries like Iran, Syria, Sudan, Libya, and maybe even Cuba being invaded in the early 2000s along with Iraq and Afghanistan. I think it would be a very interesting scenario for you to do.

11:11 Although yes, South Korea and Japan would fight alongside each other in case they are fighting countries like China or North Korea. It is important to note that both countries actually don't have that good of relations due to history and other various reasons. Although the relationship of the people are just like Indonesia and Malaysia (what I mean is that the people are usually completely fine with each other and there r also marriages between Koreans and Japanese people) the government don't like each other. But you are right on that one since South Korea and Japan are US allies and both don't like China and North Korea.

Hello Adizz, I do not agree with Africa and the Middle east Here are some reasons why (I will provide sources at the bottom) : Africa other than Morocco should be red, Africa are all on the side of China-Russia, Africa supports China who does Mega projects in countries like, South Africa, Egypt , Nigeria, Kenya and Tanzania. African countries also support Russia because these African countries use Wagner Mercenaries to stay in power. Russia, Along with China conducts infrastructure projects in Africa. Just my opinion as a South African. It is quite complicated because while our ruling party would certainly choose China, our business sector is much too linked to Europe to make that even slightly possible. It would also be the spark that starts a full blown civil war in the country. China would also be a useless ally in this case as any potential Chinese trade would be completely blockaded and then SA would get supplies from neither...

@@DracoSalieri You do have a good point, but usually the government is represented as the whole country, economically South Africa is almost reliant on China and Russia, to the point where the former South African president (Jacob Zuma) called Putin a man of peace. The population will be able to disagree however most governments (including South Africa) don't actually give most of their population a voice inside the government which means that South Africa will join China and Russia against the United States. It's good to see that there are people with more than just one view!

@@eman7126 The ANC is not nearly as powerful as it appears from the outside. There is an intense factional battle within the party and one of the factions wants to separate from China economically. It is difficult to envision a consensus just among the ruling party, nevermind the opposition, who thankfully hold enough positions to really trouble the ANC if they can unite. If Zuma was still in charge I would agree wholeheartedly but the current leadership does not even have full control within the party. If anything, anything SA could do would be lip service at best as our military is considered not strong enough to put down an insurrection among many military experts and analysts. I do enjoy these types of discussions because speculation is all we can do as things are never as they appear...
