Hey you should see if some of the walking dead blasters can take k26. The doubleshot reshell probably cant but the m16 looking one and the bolt action might be able to. That and some of the new zuru blasters like the modular pump action one.

Burtonma 07 Same dood! I am actually pleasantly surprised that K26 does increase distance and fps for the titanium. I was actaully meaning to do this for a while and now a can comfortably switch out the original spring for maximum power. Muahahah

I suggest to those that haven't used k26 or familiar with it to not dry fire your blaster , it is hard on the internals which will reduce life expectancy and possibly cause catastrophic failure.

Please, please tinker with the hopper to see if you can get it working better. The Titanium is probably my favorite springer (aside from the Hammershot. . . 'cause Hammershot) and the thing primarily keeping me from using one more often is how poorly the hopper feeds. Tried it with both its own 8 round hopper and the 25 round hopper off the Accellerator.

So I just got a caliburn and I'm glad i ordered the low power spring. It ended up being more than enough for playing with the kids. As a side bonus, I had a titanium and spare k26 laying around. So I took this project on. Noticible difference. I ended up cutting the k26 in half so I think I'll go buy another titanium and do it again.

I have not been home in a month now. Any ways just a thought. Maybe a few episodes of how to make load outs. I think u have covered before and u can expand on load outs of showing people how to make gear with different methods ie duct tape cardboard then more in depth of sewing fabrics and such. For next Friday fan mail u should do it wearing ur imperial officer uniform . Then maybe a time wearing ur steam punk. Would love to see them even in separate video. Cap I've had an idea about the feeding system. What if you have a piece of pipe coming out and facing towards the back and have a magazine slide into that? Have a metal loop for the magazine to slide into to hold it securely. Think how your Khronos shotgun feeds but upside down and detachable.

I was a little surprised by this episode. Not the results, but the performance before the upgrade. Many of they people that have operated both blasters have said that the Powerball performed better. Although, nothing I have seen yet attributed it specifically to the lack of an AR or a bigger spring. Interesting stuff as always, sir.

These were Goodwill finds so I cannot speak to new from the box performance. I was also using Rival ammo, not the ammo that comes with it.

Sadly the green one does not work with a standard Rival stick magazine, it stops feeding after one shot. Still, good mod, I'll be shoving a k26 into mine now. What a brilliantly simple design for swapping out the spring, if only Nerf could follow this lead.

You should 3dprint a adapter that allows rival mags to lay flat on top and still feed. Allows for top loading that isnt obnoxious.

Good idea, but there'd need to be extra length of spring somewhere to accommodate the join between the magwell and the magazine. Not saying it's impossible, just needs a smart cookie to figure out.

Adventure force is the reshell of the Powerball. You can even switch the foregrips because it's the exact same thing. And they're worth the money compared to the Rival shotgun (don't know the name)

You can't switch the foregrips, they don't have the same layout. The one internal difference is the ratcheting on the Powerball that the Titanium does not have.

The way these blasters have their grips designed, you could almost imagine using these things as underslung "Master Keys..." Sadly, that idea bumps up against the fact that these are hopper-fed, and either the hopper or a Rival mag would get in the way.

Mister Xavier I have a simple mod question! I finally got a goot sized K26 spring and was wondering how much I gotta cut for use in a Kronos and a Dart Zone Magnum. I've never done a spring mod before where the kit already didn't have the appropriate length, any advice and do you know how long I gotta have the springs for those 2 blasters?

For the kronos is should be the same length as the plunger rod. Maybe a little shorter. I do not recall on the Superdrum. Start with the same length as the stock spring and cut it shorter if needed.

CWAC there is no way to get similar performance wothout similar wear and tear. That is the inevitable trade off.

Do you mean reverse plunger? Because if so, no because there is no standard reverse plunger size so every spring has to be a very specific size. Direct plunger blasters are much more forgiving about the size of the spring that will work. k26 is so popular because it fits in so many blasters.

...Really... You would think nerf or one of its competitors would have figured out, two internal systems. one for reverse plungers, one for direct plungers. I can see why now its next to impossible to mod reverse plunger blasters. Although, One could assume if you knew the heft of the spring, the correct coil diameter, and the right frequency... Then you might have something on your hands. I know folks like worker and orange make spring upgrades, but I believe it would be more interesting to take the wire thickness of a K26 spring and apply it to other spring dimensions. Despite being a longer and more costly endeavor, I believe it would be worth it in the long run.

They used to make kits for RP systems but when they were phased out by the Elite line companies stopped bothering. And it is possible to get custom springs made to your exact specifications if you know what they are.

How much better? With just a 5kg worker spring and new darts mine hits a consistent 70fps, and the prime isn't too bad at all. When I brass the barrels I expect to get another small gain out of it.

There are heavier springs. But k26 is really cheap and comes in long coils so one spring can usually upgrade several blasters.

Nope. Completely impossible. There is simply no way to add a stock attachment point to a blaster. The technology simply does not exist. Can't be done. ;P
