It seems these videos were taken in January or before that. As a Japanese, I sympathize with most of the girls, but at the same time, I would like the girls to know Japanese boys also think and hesitate in the same way.

Girls do make a move in Japan sometimes the question cathy is asking here was phrased incorrectly. Girls won't chat a guy up by they may confess their feelings to him.

First of all, don't be drunk!😉🤤 Try to get a small talk indirectly. Don't be to direct in her appearence🤐. Make some indirect "compliments" like: "I thought, I've seen you somewhere before!"🤩. Think of yourself as yourself, when you talk to her. Just be natural!🤠 If you or she have a pet it will be easier! (... much easier!!!🐕🐈🥰) Just do it!👌🤪

No offense but if those girls only stalk people and say nothing... why would you expect others to come and chat you up? If you do those things and are kinda distant... no one is going to walk up to you and ask you out.

These people desperately need to get back to matchmaking. How is it that they managed to have parents in the first place? Something must have been different for their grandparents and parents to be able to chat to each other and form a relationship. Maybe you needed to chat to some couples and see if the couples who got together did the girl give more signs or even ask the guy out or were the guys more confidant and actually had several dates or asked several girls out over time and got rejections but was still willing to ask girls out?

I think 9 million people live in Tokyo and way more than that pass through Tokyo on a Daily basis. The chance of meeting the same people is not very high for that social awkwardness of getting rejected and them seeing you trying to chat up with others.

I can kind of understand why girls are terrified of- and won’t go up to guys themselves, because it’s always been a make dominant world where guys had to go up to cute girls to talk to them; and Japan is still socially stuck in the past like that. The problem is, like you said, Japanese boys are too timid to actually TRY to talk to women. A big problem with talking to women here in these States across the pond, is that many women like to play games and lead men on and toy with their feelings. I’m long since tired of games, that was high-school B.S. and I’ve got no more use for girls who play games. That being said, I won’t talk to women with romantic intentions because the only ones that won’t try to get close and allude to having feelings for me are girls who play games and I’m better off without those. On a lighter note, I of course liked your beautiful long pigtails, but I also liked the dark theme you tried on at the beginning/end of the video? Isn’t that close to your natural hair color? I remember you saying it was pretty dark and I’d love to see you go back to your natural hair color. While that dark hair DID look good with the dark dress, I still think it’d look lovely with your various other dresses. You’re just a beautiful girl and I’d like to see you go back to your natural hair color. ☺️

7:57 we're not. all pointers suggest we're approaching an age where being single is just as normal and Japan is ahead of the curve. It's not fun approaching people, it's not appreciated (a not insignificant amount of people would even refer to it as harassment now) and most relationships do not last in any case. personally, i don't think this development's a bad thing!

LADIES, DON'T BE SHY. THERE IS NO LAW THAT SAYS THAT YOU CANNOT TALK TO THE OPPOSITE SEX, OR ANYONE ELSE YOU WANT. IT'S TALKING, NOT SELLING DRUGS, RIGHT? NARCOTICS IS A VERY SERIOUS OFFENSE IN JAPAN. I ALWAYS ENCOURAGE MEN AND WOMEN TO TALK TO EACH OTHER, PROVIDED IT IS RESPECTFUL AND NOT EXPLOITIVE. I AM VERY CURIOUS ABOUT THE BURAKUMIN. I'D LIKE TO SEE THEM ON YOUR CHANNEL.

U know I really wish women would drop these stupid games of 'get the hint' know this and know that's, it's like maths puzzles and equations for us to find the answer to, it's no wonder some guys can't bother with being in a serious relationship with them, they make things complicated by having these unrealistic expectations of men then get whiny when we couldn't solve the equation 🙄
