4:51 sorry to inform you, but every move in gen 1 to 3 is physical or special depending on their type. In case of dragon EVERY attacking move before gen 4 is special, so it doesn't get boosted by dragon dance

Yeah thanks I forgot that every dragon move is specialm Something I overlooked as dragon claw does indeed make me always think of the physical , after playing gen 4 onwards for a while. Thanks for the point out!

You couldn't have done Trace with Charizard anyway because the Let's Go games are remakes of Yellow.

The way to remember the Physical/Special split is that all of the Eeveelution's types and Dragon are Special.

The reason Claydol was tanking was because Dragon Claw is special. Also iron tail isn't super effective

I wonder why you didn't teach Charizard Fire Punch in Gen 7 and 8. You are playing the Ultra Games and thanks to the Mantine Surfing you can get all elemental punches.

Another valid idea as most of his team ain't the best special defence wise, my problem was mainly surviving any sort of rock move. But definitely ideas going forward.

@@Pokehound1 i did use this strategy for defeating cynthia in diamond with a lv78 infernape Sunny day, Flamethrower, Solar Beam and Vacuum Wave of all things, but I used held items

@@Pokehound1 wait maybe it was platinum as a lv62 garchomp has a 50ish% chance to get ohko by charcoal sun and blaze boosted flamethrower with a positive nature and full. EV (and only 25 IV in atk sp), Diamond Garchomp is Lv66, so he doesn't get ohko at all unless Cynthia's garchomp has lower IVs in defenses than 31
