Hard choice. Ls real friendship with Eva or Lights fake friendship with Harold. For the sake of drama in "Total Drama" I would say Light on team bass would be better. And L boosting Justin in this video is also pretty nice. So he goes to the Gophers.

I feel like it would be lore accurate for L to be in Bass and Light to be in Gophers. As I recall, your Light said Bass sucked in the scenario where he was with them, but in Death Note, Light is the one who has all the advantages, while L has to deal with the mediocrity of the Task Force. Maybe this would put Light at a disadvantage, though, since the Gophers scenario didn't go as well for him, but maybe having L in the opposite team would change things. Light would have to be a lot more careful with L around, so he'd probably make fewer mistakes. As seen with Near and Mello, Light gets arrogant when he feels there's no one on his level around.

Continuing from action just diverges timelines infinitely (Gophers and Bass timelines each split to their own individual Grips/Gaffers timelines, having replaced non-Action characters), and it would be cool to see them in the same one (imagining it happening equivalently as during the cuffed arc, so it can be framed and justufied as part of a Kira investigation)

See, I was thinking Light, L, and someone else (Misa or Near probably) all on different World Tour teams, replacing Zeke, Izzy, and Gwen (first elimination per team). Depending on which one ends up on which team, those are all radically different outcomes. Or maybe just logically put them on whatever team they'd end up on based on their likely performance in the pyramid challenge, and they replace Duncan, Zeke, and Harold (first 3 eliminations). But I think replacing Sierra and especially Alejandro is a bad idea. They're the strongest WT competitors by far and make things a lot more interesting by forcing Light and L to maneuver around them.

And like Sierra, L is obsessive, awwkward, and overpowered. Tell me L wouldn't go to the same or further lengths for an investigation than Sierra would for Cody. It gives a nice compatible frame. These 2 new and unknown characters being introduced to an established cast they'd be able to get prior knowledge on is an interesting dynamic, and they're both far smarter than Alejandro

I am gonna throw my hat into the ring here: L ending: he does insanely well, able to outpace Beth by a lot, in fact his supporters would have trouble keeping up with him outside of more physically gifted people like Duncan or Justin, and he would just straight up see every trap coming that Beth's team would set up, even getting Heather to eat her own cookies. Beth ending: same as before, but he was unable to keep his sweet tooth at bay long enough to get Heather to eat the cookies despite knowing that there were laxatives in them, idk man, Beth is just so much physically weaker than L it is not even funny, so I just had to come up with the one thing I think could get him, she just should not have been one of the finalists in action as Harold would have been 10x more interesting.

There would have to be a reason for L and Light to join Total Drama Island in the first place. Here's my elevator pitch: The TDI showdown between Light and L canonically happens around the end of the first arc in Death Note when Light buries Ryuk's Death Note and sends Rem to give her Death Note to the most revolting human she can find. But instead of giving it to Kyosuke Higuchi, she gives the death note to Chris McLane. Light then loses his memories, proves his innocence, and continues to help L in the Kira case. Watari reports suspicious activity going on in Canada, where TDI takes place, and L deduces that Chris McLane may be Kira. Only L and Light join TDI to find incriminating evidence on Chris. That being said, Light still doesn't have his memories, so sometime toward the beginning of TDI, Light finds the death note, gets his memories back, and lays low and plays the TDI game. To make him not OP, he would only be able to touch the death note and not take it. This way, both L and Light have a reason to join TDI and we get the evil conniving Light to make things more spicy. I think it would be best for L to be on the Screaming Gophers and Light to be on the Killer Bass so both Light and L can have allies that would make things the most interesting naratively. I love the idea of Light teaming up with Harold to rig the votes and L teaming up with Izzy and Justin to make a super alliance. These teamups from the previous videos could definitely be a major part in this final showdown. One last thing, I think it would make way too much sense if some characters fall in love with either Light or L. (More likely Light I'm assuming) Courtney would probably fall for Light, seeing Light's strong sense of justice and his impressive critical thinking. Light could see her as a liability and keep her. I could also see L giving a love letter to Eva or Lashawna like Harold did, but only to get into an alliance with an OP camper. Obviously, these are all only suggestions, but I think it would be cool to see these ideas incorporated in the next video. I've loved watching these if you can't tell ❤

I believe L should start on Killer Bass and Light start on Screaming Gophers. This is so that for L with Killer Bass we still get his really sweet surprising friendship with Eva and Harold. Making it easier to form allies but being on the worse team. Meanwhile Light we get the interesting manipulation battle with Heather. And a partnership with Harold with riging votes. This is so Light is on a better team but nreds to work harder to manipulate the group. But the main reason for this is because ( and this is not my Harold bias but) the drama with Harold being stuck between his friendship with L and his partner in crime Light would be glorious as well aa help give us a reason behind the two interacting. But ethier way great video and can't wait for the next part.

If you did a what-if where light and L are in the same game, I think its more interesting for L to be on bass to not instantly remove heather, because itd basically turn into L vs Light at that point, both (mostly) perfectly controlling the teams (and like, they'll be cool during the merge, but I want to see more of them before then). If you had both L and Light in the same game though, I wonder if they'd be better on the same team. If you think about it, would they actually be able eliminate the other before merge? Having that interaction be present for the entire game between them instead of just during the merge sounds more interesting. If they were on the same team, youd probably put them on Bass for the same reason I say not to put L on gopher

I'd say go for L on the Bass and Light on the Gophers since I feel like their most interesting relationships (L/Eva, Light/Heather) were on those respective teams. I know it's unlikely, but I would love for the main conflict of the season to not just be L vs Light, but L vs Light vs Izzy and for the three of them to somehow make the final 3 with each other. I could totally see Izzy wanting this and playing both sides in an effort to make this happen, but the question is whether or not they'll see through her tricks before it's too late. Really loving this series by the way.

But in his ending he is pushed on the goal, and after the win he just take off in the helicopter and just leaves the million dollars there, so that just in canon there is a way to get the money back and let TD Action exist

They both have some heavy hitters supporting them... But I think it might come down to Beth not getting as much from hers as L does from his due to some infighting--like maybe Eva still being mad about Heather stealing from her that one time, or Katie and Aside simply not being as helpful as they could have been. I do think this starting team composition would be sufficiently drama-filled to provoke that second season for the network, though! And L would definitely risk the money just to ensure that happened.

Light on Gopher and L on Bass is probably my favorite pairing since it means we get to see L and Eva oddball friendship, L gets to team up with someone against Light in the dare challenge, and Light tries to either get L out early since him playing Ezekiel's role gives him Ezekiel's vulnerability, or Light tries to wait until he can just beat L in one of the irrational elimination challenges(the bike race, Katie and Sadie choosing who to kill, even to an extent the chef key challenge)

Ok Hear me out... What if there was a sernio Light and L were on the same team? You might think it would everything one sided but could not disagree more. Despite being on the same team, they both recognize that the greatest threat is each other and initially would try get rid of each other as soon but might realize due to some of Action's wackier challenges that working together might be their best chance of winning but won't work too closely; (A) An alliance like this might draw too much attention and Izzy would probably call them out if they weren't careful. (B) Each of them both know that's it's only a matter of time until someone backstabs the other. Great series of videos so far.

I personally prefer L on Screaming Gophers and Light on Killer Bass. L and Izzy's relationship fascinated me more than his relationship with Eva, funnily. L is a bit kooky and eccentric, which pairs well with Izzy's energy. Light, on the other hand, has more sway over the Bass because they either aren't smart enough to catch on or easily charmed by his personality. L is surrounded by a team of strong personalities on Gophers, so his ability to play the fool and keep his head down until crucial moments make him a standout in my eyes. How the eliminations go is up to you, but I found Light's manipulation in the Bass route more fun. He has less to work with because the Bass wasn't a great makeup, and he has to use his wits.

But I guess I would go with option B, as this would allow (In my opinion) the most amount of drama, since I can see Light using Heather as a meat shield for problems while L tries to do the right thing and keep most of them out of trouble. (Though, I not gonna lie, the Justin arc was Peak)

I really liked seeing all of L's friendships on Bass, so I probably vote for that one, but I agree with comments saying that putting Light on Bass to stir the pot while L deals with the tension of Heather and Justin is an interesting way to go about it.

L on the Scresming Bass kept things balanced longer in terms of elimination, and his relationships with the Bass Gang was honestly pretty sweet. Meanwhile Light and Heather's allianced, and eventually bretraying her was suuuuper satisfying. Not to mention having two manipulative assholes working together, along with the team dynamics, is always fun.

It makes more sense for L to be on Screaming Gophers, since they were always the more competent team and his weird anti-social but hyper-competent behavior is a better mesh. Light being on the bass is also more entertaining because Light's whole deal is about social deception, so being on the more sociable drama-filled team fits, and it would make him their secret weapon against the Gophers.

So we aren’t doing a double scenario for if Light and L were in the game? Bummer. Well, if I HAD to choose one scenario… I think Light on Gophers and L on Bass. I think that scenario makes sense; your videos showed me that Bass need all the help they can get, and having a friend in L would probably help them a bit (plus the friendships L can have with Eva and Harold would be great). Plus with Light on Gophers it means Heather might not get booted as quickly, so Light can spend time vying for power over the team vs Heather before he focuses on L. I did see people had an interesting idea that L gets the Eva/Izzy spot for where he would be eliminated but then come back. While cool, if this is the combination that we go with, I don’t see it happening. Without being on the Bass, Light can’t get information out of Harold on rigging the votes, and light would need that to get rid of L. Anyway, I have three questions if you don’t mind: 1. Is the next video going to be like the previous ones? As in, will Light and L be taking Ezekiel and Noah’s places? Because if not… 2. Would you make a scenario where no one gets replaced? It would probably mean either adding eliminations to episodes where there were none, OR you could make up your own episodes to fill in the extra eliminations. It might be a little bit of extra work, but if you were down for it, that means the entirety of the TD cast would be there. 3. I’ve seen people also suggesting that you do a TD video where Light and L end up on the SAME team rather than opposing ones. Is that an idea that you’d be interested in doing?

I honestly prefer L on the Bass team, he and Eva make a surprisingly good duo and honestly if Light is gonna be a factor here, the Bass will need this advantage to even stand a chance
