He had a good showing at the Euros no doubt, but to peg him as the next goat is too soon, Messi and CR7 set the bar too high, Mbappe till now has failed to reach one season of 70+ G/A, not to mention lack of individual awards, 2 years ago he was also being touted as the next goat. I don't think people understand just how insane and freakish the records of Messi and CR7 are, not to mention that in their prime they would destroy teams single handedly. Apart from that, Ansu Fati had a similar breakthrough and then injuries got to him. Give Yamal a chance, I personally do not think he will be as good as Messi or CR7 but only time will tell.

Lamine Yamal is just on another level. When you’re being bathed by Lionel Messi as a baby, no wonder why you’re so good at football bullying all these grown ass men. You’re telling me that in a span of 18 months, he made his debut for Barcelona at the age of 15, he is now their best player and has broken countless records for club and country at such a young age, he recently turned 17 years old yesterday he’s now a European champion and he wasn’t just a part of Spain’s squad, he was a key player during their title winning run at the EUROs and has already won more trophies than Harry Kane. 😂😂😂😂😂. I’ll stop with the jokes. In his first ever major tournament, 7 games 1 goal 4 assists, youngest goalscorer and assister at the EUROs and was the young player of the tournament. G/A in every knockout stage game until the final itself, this is unheard of and he’s not normal, he’s just that guy. Even though he’s 17 years old now, he doesn’t let the big occasions get to him, I mean you can’t poke the bear against Yamal and his goal against France is a prime example of it as he scored a banger from outside of the box in front of the same player who thought it was a good idea to trash talk him before the game and get to his head. In a final in front of the whole world a day after your birthday, he got a great assist against England after he drove with the ball and on the same pitch and throughout the tournament, he outshined Kylian Mbappe (who’s the best player in the world), Jude Bellingham (Ballon Dor contender and is made as a much better player than he’s turned out to be because of Madrid PR and the media). Bro was cooking while doing his homework and passing all of his exams in school. If he can unlock his goalscoring arc since he did miss some chances that he would be scoring if he had that clinical touch in his game, then we’re looking at potentially a future Ballon Dor winner.

One thing we’ve all learned from Spain’s title winning run at the EUROs is that Nico Williams and Lamine Yamal are prime examples of what you want from an elite winger: direct, very fast, excellent dribbling abilities creative can take fullbacks on 1v1 and will go at you for 90 minutes and this linkup has to happen at Barcelona. Modern football has become too robotic and tactically demanding in a sense that the way in which managers want to operate their teams in a certain way it takes away the individual ability and flair from players and you can’t blame people for saying that football is so boring, but Spain’s attack with Yamal and Williams on on the right wing and the other on the left wing, that’s Barcelona’s future as both of them are young and exciting to watch and they have to make this signing happen ASAP because if not, their board has to step down and never come back to the club ever again.

If Lamine never plays soccer again after this season i would tell you he had one of the most exciting seasons as a fan. Top 20 for me. This is ignoring his age. Lamine is going to get better. How much better? we do not know. To think that he is already this good we subconsciously avoid to give exponential growth to things that exceed our expectations. But HE IS 16 his growth WILL be exponential in 2 years alone. Trust me, when he is 19 ,you will believe he is dinning on the same sit as ronaldo and neymar.
