Raphinha is in the best form of his career at Barcelona right now and with the way he’s playing, he’s arguably one of the best wingers in the world and it’s very clear that they made the right decision in not selling him in the summer. He has won over some of the fans who wanted him out at some point even though his output was very good. It’s great that he’s getting praised for his contributions on the pitch even though all the attention is on Lamine Yamal and it makes sense because he’s 17 years old and the things he’s doing at his age is unheard of as he’s in the conversation for being the best player in the world getting Ballon Dor shouts as a teenager and he’s the best winger in world football. He was good under Xavi, but with Hansi Flick as their manager, he has elevated his game to another level and he’s played with a lot of freedom and it doesn’t matter what role he’s played as whether he’s a left winger or an attacking midfielder, he has been putting in consistent performances and has been an 8/10 in most of the games they’ve played and he has a lot of confidence in his play. Last season he was very good as he got double digits in goals and assists and he had some big moments for them in the champions league knockout stages getting 3 goals in both legs against PSG even if they didn’t win that in the end, he still provided an impact on the team, this season he has taken his game to another level and is a better player now than he was in his first couple of seasons at Barcelona. He has 5 goals and 2 assists in 6 games (he has more non penalty goals himself than Real Madrid’s attack combined), this includes a hat trick against Real Valladolid and a brace against Villarreal at the weekend, his performances have been so good to the point where he’s made Barcelona fans forget about Nico Williams as he was a player that they were trying to sign all summer and now with Raphinha’s form some of the fans don’t even want him at the club as they believe that they don’t even need him anymore that’s how good he’s been. This is what makes him their Swiss Army Knife type of player and he always fights for the badge and gives it his all whether or not the team wins or loses. On top of his ability to get goals and assists as he has very good numbers, his technical ability and he has some flair in his game even if he isn’t the flashiest despite being Brazilian, how he’s able to create chances and have a work rate that’s so unlimited makes him a dream player for any manager. Flick has gotten the best out of almost everyone in the team and everyone under him is thriving and Raphinha in general has been playing some sublime football and this is the best I’ve seen him play during his time at Barcelona.

Balde Araujo Christensen Kounde was best defense when barcelona won la liga the prior season. I think if both then came back from injury to this barcelona's defense it would be deadly.

Even our top 11 at the moment consists of La Liga 8-10th level players, We heve no DM other then Casado, who is like a Segundaa division level player. We literally don't have any other player. We have Cubarsi and Inigo, who arent that bad, but certainly not UCL level players. And we have Baldé, who is okay-ish, maybe. Even this squad is really bad. And when we have to make changes in order to give them some rest... it's like a Las Palmas level. We have to embrace the fact that we will concede A LOT. There is no way around it, there is no coach in the history of football who could avoid this. Yes, we could park the bus, and consede a little less, but... this way we have a good chance to outscore our opponent, and we at least have really joyful time to watch the metches, which I don't think we had the pleasure to do since Enrique. Maybe in 2025 with Araujo and Chris, if we're lucky... but at the moment, if we only talking about the defensive part of the squad, it is not UCL, not even EL level. The high line is the reason we are playing this good. There has to be a trade off. We had a high line last season but we didnt score so many goals so it doesn't make sense. If our attack isnt firing like last season then it makes sense to not play a high line, but we have been drooling over the way hansi flick has changed this team and now you cant nit pick. Hansi flick is not gonna go back and defend in his box. So there is no point even discussing about the highline.
