Since 2018 Stoke City have been the 'Bermuda Triangle' of English football, including failing ownership, shocking decision making, awful signings, profligate finances, careers ended, awful players, stupid managers and pretty much everything else. This last decade, I doubt many other clubs supporters have had to put up with such poor 'survival' fayre on the field of play. Those hardy souls who still follow them around after such a long debacle, deserve my eternal respect.

One of the problems have been successive managers trying to put round pegs into square holes. Not playing players in a system that suits them. Add to this poor recruitment for this division plus the ludicrous restriction of trade which would not be allowed in any other business (FFP). Robins will gel the club and the team.

The Windass strike has to fly in, or else the keeper saves it. You can try it all You want, but its basically a top bin challenge from behind the midway line. You can hear it from the late roar, even home fans in the audience didn't realize it was going in.

I sincerely hope that mark robins is the man to bring this awful chapter in Stoke City’s history to an end. I long to watch one of your excellent vlogs where you are talking about Robins having turned Stokes fortunes around and broke the “spell” that is hanging over them. Although I agree entirely with the theory that it has a lot to with them upstairs!!!

Cov fan here, he will need time but Stoke has been a graveyard for managers. He has left Lampard with a terrible squad, both will need two transfer windows to sort their squads out.

I'm a Leeds fan and I agree with them, everyone in football knows we're easily the best squad and yet we've struggled away and opposition managers seem to be doing better than Farke with less resources, it reminds me of last season, I'm no Farke fan but surely even he should get us promoted this season
